The New Inn is now a Brewhouse and no longer serves any meals whatsoever. The nearest Restaraunt in the village is The Star.

Friendly staff, nice ambience sat in conservatory to dine. Good wholesome home cooked food, lovely deserts and excellent lager/wine. Haven't been for a long time but enjoyed visit and will definitely return

Went for lunch on a Saturday and just had a sandwich each. I had a prawn baguette and my boyfriend had a battered fish sandwich with chips. The food was really nice and good quality! The menu looks great and with good prices! Will definitely return and recommend to others!

Used to be a regular at this pub many years ago, we have recently started to visit The New Inn again and have been pleasantly surprised by the fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is all home made and some of the best pub food we have tried. The website needs updating with food opening times as I am... More

Whilst a change of Management has meant that Continental Cuisine no longer cater at the New Inn, the new catering team under local girl, Lynne Singh, have made a brilliant change to the dining experience at the New Inn Taps as it is now known. Keep up the good work Lynne trade will grow accordingly.

This really is a superb real ale pub. They even brew their own ale and have a very good selection of other real ales. Since the present owners took over they have converted what was a dining area into where discerning drinkers can sit and enjoy the beer. It is on a bus route and well worth a visit.

Great spot for lung with a good selection of light bites and unusual sandwiches as well as more substantial meals. The real ale selection offered contrasting styles some of which are brewed on the premises. I intend to return for an evening in the near future. What more can I say.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday night meal at the New Inn. Starting with the gorgeous 'sexy mushrooms', I had the delicious seared tuna steak whilst my other half had the monkfish tail. Both mains were excellently cooked, presented and enjoyed by us both. Creme Brûlée was my dessert choice, chocolate orange sponge my husband's. Again both puddings... More

A small party of us booked this restaurant because of the reviews and a recommendation. However,I was initially disappointed with the look of the place having passed several beautiful old stone inns on the way. Inside had little to recommend it and it had the ambience of a back street pub. The restaurant itself was nothing special and there was... More
