Travelling westwards down the A303 just before Amesbury you will find the first speed camera on the road. Just before the camera is an exit into Solstice Park. Take it, straight over a couple of roundabouts, and then turn right at the third into an area full of chain restaurants. At the far end is the Holiday Inn, and the... More

Went here because it was quiet mid-morning. The coffee was the most expensive I believe I have ever bought - and I've had plenty of really great coffees in London. Pastries were too expensive to try out. Maybe that's why it's so quiet mid-morning? On the plus side, no problem finding a parking space.

Visited here for a business meeting . Service was charming but not enough people doing the coffees and bar. So I had to return to the bar to get a coffee after having sat down for a while. After I had been there for a while it was getting towards tea time I noticed how cold the restaurant was. If... More

Went there today and booked a week before, arrived and said booking was not made. Also got told by the manager that they have a booking for 150 people so we could not be seated. Eventually he seats all 5 of us. We had a great Sunday roast dinner with dessert which was great. Service from staff was okay -... More

I ordered fish cakes to start, they didn't turn up, and BBQ ribs for main with chunky chips, the ribs came out horribly overdone and not just by a few mins. The chips were ok but not chunky! I would of given 1 star but the waiter was very good and refunded the cost of the main course and offered... More

The Solistce is a restaurant situated inside HI Stonehenge. We had breakfast which really impressed us. Fresh food in a good variety. Especially the variety of bread and eggs pleased us. Friendly Staff and absolut clean tables were other remarkable insights. A good choice for a start in a new day!

Thank Dirk S

Think Salisbury and youll think Solstice not the mid-summer phenomenon beloved of druids but the super chic Bar and Grill at Amesburys uber-modern Holiday Inn hotel. Situated only moments from the world famous site of Stonehenge, Solstice is glamorously modern, its sleek interior anything but pre-historic. One wall is shot through with a blaze of glass, providing countryside views in the day and inky black reflections at night, while the rest of the room is bright and spacious, furnished in monochrome and lit by low-hanging chrome lamps. Despite its futuristic styling the atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and welcoming, thanks in no small part to the professional and friendly staff who ensure your every need is met during your visit, be it a swift lunch or a leisurely dinner. From the elegance and ease of a continental style croissant and cappuccino in the morning to the hearty modern European mains of evening dinners and the comforting familiarity of burgers and steaks, plus the well-stocked bar with its excellent wine list and numerous beers, Solstice is a venue for any occasion.
