Cold, draughty hotel run by amateurs. There's a really nice pub called The Potting Shed in Crudwell where you can go and warm up and get a drink rather than wander the hallways of The Rectory in two coats, hat, scarf and gloves trying to find someone who isn't "too busy" to serve residents. This hotel really isn't worth staying... More

The hotel as so much Charter about it, our room was the Sudeley suite which you felt like you went back in time it was just so perfect. The breakfast was... More

I was treated to a meal for two for my birthday at The Rectory. We arranged for a Saturday evening meal and from start to finish we were very well looked after. Drinks in the bar followed by dinner in the dining room. The condition of the hotel is very good with a high level of quality in the finish... More

Spent last night at the Rectory, it only has few rooms but each is individual and beautifully decorated. Our room was on the second floor and was very comfortable. The rooms don't have their own tea and coffee facilities, but this is because on each floor there is a vast range of teas and coffee's for you to help yourself... More

I had waited for an opportunity to stay at The Rectory. And along it came when I was on my travels and passing through the area. I was genuinely looking forward to it, but oh deary me: * The photos are, in my opinion, misleading. They are taken in a way to suggest that the hotel is on its own... More

Lovely setting, and reception from staff. Had a drink in the garden and delicious meal in the dining room. Try and get a dining table by the windows to the gardens, will add to your experience. Nice touches round the hotel, tea and coffee on landing plus water in rooms.
