Having checked trip adviser before going, we were all disappointed as the pub was freezing, eventually the heating was put on. Also we all had burgers, mine was a chicken burger, very dry, chips were not nice. So we won’t we back.

Super place to visit for just a beer or a full on meal. Great food, super service, and for Gongoozlers a very busy lock right outside. Even the dog managed to get a good drink!

A friendly village pub located on the picturesque Staffs and Worcestershire canal. Our aim is to serve good homecooked food using locally sourced ingredients. All our beef comes from the Bishop family farm located less than a mile away on Blakeshall lane.
