Stopped for lunch while touring the Kitchen Kettle Village. Plenty of seating. Sat by the windows so I could watch the Amish buggies go by. Server brought crackers and pepper jelly cheese spread while I perused the menu. Generous portions of both! The cheese spread was delicious! Had the crab cake sandwich. Tasty, lots of crab. For me, the roll... More

Great value and great food no matter what time of year you stop in Gets a little busier in summer due to the kids off, but quality has never wavered Been stopping by for years, always a welcome stop

As we where staying at the Inn at Kitchen Kettle we had vouchers for the Kling Restruant so we naturally decided to have breakfast here. While I stuck with the house specials my wife and friends chose from the other selections. Very good food and reasonable prices. The service was friendly and quick, with good views of the passers by.

I really liked this restaurant. It was very clean, nicely decorated and we sat next to a crackling fireplace on a cold wintery day. The menu was extensive and the service prompt, friendly and professional. I had the quiche with a bowl of their chicken corn soup. It was delicious. Before our meal we were given a plate of their... Beautiful restaurant, has a very homey feel to it. We got there just before 11:00. Breakfast was finishing and lunch had not started. We could have gotten breakfast but wanted lunch. The hostess was very nice, told us we could have a table and get coffee. We decided to go to some stores and go back. Lunch was delicious, large... More

We got the included breakfast that came with the Inn. There were 3 choices (eggs/potatoes, waffles, oatmeal) which all looked good. I got the eggs and my wife got waffles and both were very good.

When in Lancaster, I usually expect to get overloaded on country/family style food but this place was a nice surprise. While they do serve some local jams/relishes/etc. it is not on overload. The spring mix salad was perfect and the creamy tomato soup was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his burger with cheese, mushrooms and sriracha mayo. This was paired... More

We met Barbara at the door. She greeted us cheerfully and offered us seats. We were looking for a chicken corn soup to go and some Cocoa Cola to go. She was very pleasant and helpful with information on the soup and then with information for places to see in Lancaster. The soup was delicious, although they didn't carry Cocoa... More

The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.
