Came here for lunch with my boyfriend, first of all the interior struck me as very dated so I didn't really enjoy sitting in the restaurant. For lunch my boyfriend had a roast and I had the egg mayo sandwich as I wasn't as hungry. It was quite pricey at £5, so I was still expecting a substantial pub sandwich... More

Get there early evening if eating as tables are in demand! We were lucky as a table of 11 came in shortly after us. Food was reasonably priced. They were very accommodating as we have a fussy three year old which they catered for and an autistic son who they helped with his dietary requirements. My salmon was gorgeous, hubby... More

My wife and I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was a really poor quality piece of meat (if it was meat) that had clearly been bought from a value supermarket range and taken straight out the freezer. it tasted really cheap and poor quality. The fries were even worse however as they were actually inedible. They were so... More

Stopped for a well earned drink after a coastal walk. Great choice of drinks. Amazing views from the Sun drenched beer garden across Crantock beach.

We visited here as a family of 4 over the easter break. The pub was really busy but as soon as we walked in we managed to get a table in the adults only bar area, with a lovely view! The menu was extensive and loads of specials were available which meant we all found something we wanted to eat.... More

We have wanted to visit the Bowgie inn for a couple of years. We Visited recently after seeing promotional details on social media. The Staff at the Bowgie were welcoming and guided us to an area that was good for children situated very close to an indoor games room. The food was really good value for money. Once we had... More

Have been staying in Cornwall for the week and we went over to the cider farm for a bit but needed somewhere to go for lunch. Most pubs nearby had shut their kitchens at around 2 so we drove over to the Bowgie inn instead. Been a few times now and never had a problem with the food or the... More

Popular restaurant in a small village perched above a beautiful estuary. Large terrace and outdoor dining area as well as indoor dining room. Good menu and range of specials. Portion size is good but food is average.
