Booked a table for Sunday lunch. As it's out of season there was plenty of room in the restaurant area. The bar was very busy, filled with locals. Generous portions were served and you certainly get good value for money. Service was a bit on the slow side, so you do need patience. A lot of walk are available around... More

The chips I thought were a bit on the hard side for me, that's just my preference. My brother's cucumber had gone funny. I think it was where hot & cold were touching. Overall, I think the food was average. Outdoor & indoor seating, no car park that I'm aware of, good service, friendly staff. Located in a really nice... More

We had dinner at the Ship Inn, last Thursday. Many locals at the pub, lovely, lively atmosphere. It was a cold wet evening, so the dining area was made cosy with the conservatory closed off and fresh flowers on the table. A very warm greeting from Jonnie and Ronnie. The previous diners who were leaving as we arrived commented on... More

We arrived in Cornwall late and didnt really have time to check anywhere out. We decided to follow the brown sign for The Ship Inn, Who actually gives out these brown signs and when are they reviewed?? After following the brown sign and having an awful experience we will no longer trust the brown signs. This Inn is a typical... More

Had a couple drinks here before the wedding. Was a nice enough place but not the friendliest in terms of service.

We were staying in nearby Couch's Mill and walked just over a mile to get to this pub and it was worth every step! They have a large selection of real ales on tap as well as the usual fare. We spent an afternoon in the beer garden trying as many as we could, before zig-zagging our way back to... More

This is nice traditional pub serving excellent value for money food. Their fresh mackerel is recommended.

Quaint village by a river. Middle of nowhere. The ship inn is an oasis. Great selection of local beers. Locally sourced food. Had a great meal here. There was 8 of us. All the food was superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. 60 pounds for starters and mains including drinks. Worth a visit.

Having booked online was unsure what I would find. It's a great location set in a small village along side a river. If not a bit of treak from anywhere. And I must warn you that as with most places don't expect a phone signal. Total black spot. But the ship is a place you would love in your village.... More

Great location, good selection of beers and cider, pleasant pub garden. Ideal for lunch with a good selection of sandwiches and other pub grub. There's also a more refined menu if you want to spend a little more.
