Dropped into the Welcome Home having walked the beach and exploring the area after coming on the train from Luxulyan. Met by the friendly and helpful staff who served us very promptly. Ordered Sunday lunch which arrived very soon after ordering and served to us in a sunny garden. The meals were large and inexpensive. Good portions of meat and... More

Having vry recently moved to Par have been in the Welcome Home a few times now. The staff and locals are great. Very aptly named pub, made to feel very welcome by all. Have a limited food menu, but very good locally produced and large portions. This is going to be our local.

We have used this pub for many years while we are holidaying in Cornwall, our three dogs are always welcome, the locals are welcoming and the new landlady and landlord are really nice! Had a roast dinner on Sunday! All I will say is wow! So nice!!!!! Far better than you get at the ship! Always a roaring fire going... More

This is a lovely little pub where I went to play a darts match. The staff are very friendly and approachable in a very homely environment. Can't really fault this pub and have visited it on a few occasions now and have always felt at st home.

We in the past have eaten here many times over a number of years and have always had very nice reasonably priced meals ! However on our most recent visit we were greeted in a very unfriendly and rude manner by the barmaid protesting that we were late for our 12.00 noon sitting and how they would have to lay... More

A fantastic evening meal for 11, all brought out within a few minutes of each other and not a bad one between them. Portion sizes were excellent and quality high. A lovely pub, clean and tidy with excellent friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Much improved since our last visit. Gorgeous food and friendly service. Super garden at the back. It's only potential down point is that the local entertainment aka Jeremy Kyle contestants but this is not the pub's fault!

Called in on the off chance they had a table as we had not booked. Shown to a table and told that lunch was turkey, lamb or pork and came in size, small, medium & large. Ordered 1 large and 2 medium. OMG the meal was huge and we were stuffed. The local beer helped to wash it down. We... More
