Cannot fault our visit to this pub last Sunday. Excellent carvery - one of the best in Cornwall that we have visited. Efficient service, especially considering how busy they were. Great selection of desserts. All very reasonably priced. Excellent.

It is what it is. If you really enjoy food and want a special occasion, you wouldn't eat here. If you're not bothered and just want something to eat, it's probably Ok. Carvery is not my thing. Queuing up for overcooked food is too reminiscent of school dinners, and about as tasty. The craze for carvery is a mystery to... More

Have just returned home from a great Xmas works lunch. Had the carvery which was very hot and plentiful, everything perfectly cooked.( If there is one criticism it would be the beef which was well done and I prefer mine pink) Chocolate gateau was very chocolaty and very tasty. Overall I would recommend to all my friends and family

Three of our party had the carvery and one had something from the menu - all of us were totally pleased with our meals. We cannot praise them highly enough on the standard of food.
