We have been visiting St. Agnes for many years and thought we'd give the St. Agnes Hotel a try as we have never stayed there before. What a disappointment! We were shown to our room which overlooked the church and on entering we noticed a large piece of plastic screwed to the ceiling to cover up a water stain. The... More

Excellent pub restaurant. very comprehensive menu. Visited twice for dinner. Once on my own and once with a colleague. The hake was to die for and the seafood chowder was superb. My colleague had the hake on the second night and agreed with me that it was brilliant. The beer was good also. Atmosphere was very friendly and service excellent.

A local family warned us away from the "local pub" as a bit of a noisy / football / TV type place (fine if you want it!) and directed us here as St. Agnes' best place for visitors to feel welcome. We did! Nothing special about the drinking here, yet perfectly adequate for a local cider or ale. Full pint... More

Having missed the hourly bus to get back to caravan. We popped for drink and a coffee, having to wait for the next bus. Nice warm open fire. Lovely service. Cannot comment on food as we did not eat.

Having had to find a restaurant at short notice due to terrible service at another pub we went into the St Agnes Hotel. Having stopped by for a drink on previous occasions it was the first meal here. The staff were really friendly, great atmosphere with lots of locals in. The food was good pub food, reasonably priced and good... More

Have been coming here for a few months now as I live in this village and have found the beer and food pretty good. The ale is always top notch and food available all day is a great attraction. You do get a lot of holiday makers in this village as the area is so good for walkers etc so... More

We had a lovely meal here. Food looked amazing. I want out of my comfort zone and want for a Portobello mushroom and battered hallumi burger. Looked amazing but can't say I enjoyed them together. I'm not taking the rating down though as this isn't my usual choice for food I'm a meat eater and don't often have burgers. Presentation... More

This hotel/pub is in the centre of St Agnes with a bus stop, just outside. Service and meal was very good especially the steak and ale pie - delicious.
