I I was so good I went there twice, and I was only there for 2 nights! The batter was gorgeous and light. Not greasy at all. I had the hoki and chips. It's a New Zealand fish and was absolutely stunning. Best fish and chips ever!!!

Our waiter, which I think may have been the owner, was friendly and attentive without being in our faces. Now..... to the food! We only had the Seafood Platter for two so I can't comment on any of their other food. The Platter consisted of the following: 2 fish cakes (this was the only fried thing on the Platter, which... Good fish and chips. Get take away and walk across the car park to eat on the grassy slope down to the beach. Lovely setting. Car park beside the eat-in part is a bit noisy, but the food is good.

We visited this restaurant over a year ago and was really impressed. While we were up north on holidays last month went back for another lunch because our previous experience was so good. We had the oysters and the mixed seafood grill plate and both were exceptional. Good wait staff, amazing view. Love it!

We have been to Fishheads several times because friends have wanted to try the restaurant. We have found it to be overpriced for the quality of the food. Several had battered items and these came out soggy. I had the grilled fish and, while is was tasty, I did think it was overcooked. Will not try it again. Staff very... More

What a neat place..went and had coffee and muffin here this morning. We were greeted and shown to our table by friendly staff. Coffee was really good and so was the muffin! They could see my 2 year old was slowly starting to get bored so they brought out activity books for him and our 6 year old, which was... More
