Had dinner here last night and my arrinchini arrived but was so dry I couldn't eat it when waitress asked if all ok I told her that it was not edible I left over half they offered me free dessert but I don't do dessert (I've lost 45 kg) no discount on the food sad! We ate here as was... More

After finding the restaurant attached to our own accomodation we were a bit hesitant checking out the food of another motel, but we were quite wrong. It's truly earned its high TripAdvisor rank. Decided to eat at the restaurant that this motel provided before doing an astronomy tour at a nearby observatory. It's five years since we last stayed at the Acacia hotel in Coonabarabran en-route to Queensland. I'm pleased to repeat that the hotel is even better than the last time we stayed. Would I go back? Definitely yes. Not often would I give an excellent rating, but delivery v expectation was a surprise. Worth a visit

We had a nice meal here garlic bread is generous, lamb shanks was huge, as was the pork ribs. Pumpkin salad was also huge. All round enjoyable and satisfying meal.
