Each dish was very delicate and tasty. The owner was a great host, explaining the menu and adapting it to your requirements (I have diabetes and my husband needs gluten free). There was no rose by the glass on the menu but he opened a bottle for us saying he was going to have some himself... and the glasses were fuller than usual.
Amazingly good in a town where there is so little competition.

It was the first time we ate at this restaurant. We had Prawns stir fried with garlic & pepper & Chicken with chilli jam & cashew nuts. Both dishes were tasty & good servings. Prices are reasonable. The only drawback was a bit of a long wait for our food (40 mins), but we were given complimentary spring rolls to compensate which was a nice gesture. It is licensed & BYO wine only. Free parking on street.

We love this place,
visited a number of times since we first found KV (as the locals call it), Always a friendly smile and the food is delicious. Its wonderful to find authentic flavours and dishes in such a small village tucked away in the countryside.
I often make a slight amendment to the dishes as I am rather fussy vegan and they accommodate my requests every time without an issue.
Thank you guys!

We were lucky enough to squeeze in one night here on a recent trip to the Valley. How luck we were.
Each dish was wonderfully prepared with very fresh ingredients. It is so hard to pick a favourite dish, but the Duck in Red Curry was out of this world.
Having visited Thailand a few times I’m not sure anywhere I’ve eaten in Bangkok is as good as Jing Jo.
Go soon if you can!!

Wonderful experience! With an authentic Thai chef you know the food had to be the real deal - and it was! Everything was extremely tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed eating here.
It was also great that you could order desserts such as sticky date pudding or lemon meringue pie after an excellent Thai meal. Personally I was too full for dessert but I thoroughly enjoyed a well-made affogato! Don't leave Kangaroo Valley without trying this restaurant.

Super fresh and very tasty food. Satay chicken skewers, chicken chilli basil, yellow chicken curry and Thai fried rice. Friendly staff and service excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our favourite place for dinner everytime we stay in the valley.

David, the restaurant owner, was welcoming, very helpful and attentive. He also has a great sense if humour. The restaurant is only open from 5.00pm to 8.00pm on certain evenings. So best to book and plan on arriving early. The menu is authentic and the Thai chef prepares amazing authentic dishes. You can choose mild, medium or hot. We chose hot and that was perfect for our dishes. For starters we chose stuffed chicken legs which were sublime. Crispy batter with a generous filling of savoury minced chicken with chilli dipping sauce. We also chose fried quail and duck red curry. All dishes were amazingly good, freshest ingredients
, generous portions and beautifully presented. I cannot recall enjoying a Thai meal more and we lived in Asia for 35 years!
We'll certainly be back on our next trip to Kangaroo Valley. Thoroughly recommended.

Truly delicious Thai food, good servings and oh so tasty.
Were a few things on menu that were unavailable but that’s an indication of freshly made offerings running out rather than an endless supply of frozen food.
Well worth a visit if you can.

We had a takeaway meal last night. Masaman Beef, stir fried vegetables and rice. Absolutely delicious. The beef was so tender and no gristle. The vegetables were perfectly cooked in an oyster sauce. We even have leftovers for lunch today. To top it all off, when I placed the order they said they’d give me a call ten minutes before it was ready. And they did! Fabulous and friendly customer service in a beautiful country town.

This lovely restaurant in the heart of Kangaroo Valley township offers the most delicious Thai dishes. Lovely owner who is engaging and nice to talk to. Service was good. We had a delicious quail dish and my favourite Massaman curry. Definitely make time to have dinner at this place at your next visit to Kangaroo Valley

Was here to celebrate our friends birthday. Food was delicious, tasty and authentic. The ingredients were fresh and top quality. Staff was friendly and our waiter (pretty sure he is the owner) has the best sense of humour. We enjoyed our meal here and can’t wait to come back.

I’m obsessed with this restaurant. The food is so bloody delicious. I stayed n KV for 3 nights and had dinner here 2 nights. The food is full of flavour. The only restaurant where they understand “hot ( chillies)” dishes. Prices are reasonable. And food is served with warm service. Very cosy ambience. The owner very attentive and friendly. So are other beautiful female staffs. The chef does god’s work!
Very highly recommended.

We had dinner here with our dog and they made a special table for us on the veranda. Beautiful food and wonderfully attentive staff. A real treat of an experience with super friendly service and beautifully cooked Thai treats. A highlight of our trip to the Kangaroo Valley. Make sure you arrive hungry!

Our group enjoyed a delightful Thai meal here, returning after a similar very satisfactory experience during our previous visit to the valley two years ago. The atmosphere was pleasant, the food delicious, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. w e enjoyed our meal very much.

Really nice Asian inspired food to suit all tastes. Friendly service, nice prices and plenty of variety, in the middle of town. Great community minded owners to boot, definitely one to try.
