Popped in after getting a local recommendation. The cute historical building gives you that trip back in time. Once inside, they have set it up very nicey and comfortable with air conditioning, seating area surrounded by the home made jams, chutney's and honey. Grabbed myself a chicken thai wrap and had to try their 'Brewtiful' latte's. Settled for the almond milk chai. The place is clean, tidy and food made fresh and tasty. We waiting about 5 minutes which I would consider very reasonable. The staff were friendly to chat with and helpful. Would definitely go back with a friend and try another 'Brewtiful' latte! :-)

We visited this cafe for lunch and ordered coffee .... kudos to the barista, seafoods platter was a good , reasonable size and the calamari was cooked to perfection... prawns and chips were beautiful and the service was tops. Only thing i noticed was that the cafe closed an hour earlier than what is posted on the sign. The rest if the family missed out!

This is a fab café for coffee, breakfast or lunch, the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating to my fussy tastes. They have always been able to serve vegan lunch or breakfast. For good quality, home style cooking, in the village Maddie's is your place

On a delightful girls trip we decided to spend our money over at this restaurant for some lunch after a search of this wonderful town. What a mistake! After ordering our five meals and then waiting 40 minutes for takeaway, seeing other meals similar to ours being delivered to individuals who ordered after us, we asked when our food would be ready. After five minutes our food had arrived, and the man had the audacity to make a joke about it being a different number with no apology for the wait time. After we turned our backs he “shooed” us with his hand which, in unbeknownst to him, was seen. When the customer spends at least $100 on your food and then has to wait 40 minutes only to receive cold food, expect a bad review. It is such a shame that your food was brilliant and hit the spot for our visit to Kangaroo Valley, but when your sourpuss attitude is the highlight of visiting the store Kangaroo Valley has turned into a no-go for us.

The vanilla milkshake was a hit with the teenager but the burger wasn’t at all. Avocado on sourdough was delicious. The schnitzel in the schnitzel burger was questionable but cooked well and filling. The chips were good and not too many for a side serving. Coffee is not their specialty.

Wanting to give back to small businesses in small towns that are hurting from the bushfires and drought, we went on a road trip. Kangaroo Valley has always been a beautiful place but we were shock to see the river so low/bare. However, we stumbled upon this great cafe with great service. The food was definitely a meal in itself and delicious. My halloumi burger was sensational and I'm not a vegetarian!

It was gòod to have as it down after a long drive and have delectable food placed before us!
Such generous servings.
They were all delicious.
Smoked salmon with capers; smashed avocado and fetta; scones, jam and cream!
See photos for extras!!
Affogato for one, tea for another and chamomile for me.

Wonderful fast and efficient service in a fine heritage environment. Warm, freshly made scones, brewed tea and coffee. Left some Kangaroo Valley shopping there, and with no hassles, arranged to forward to me!

We were fortunate to be able to get a table on the front verandah, a great spot to watch the world go by as we waited for our meal. Though the order was taken quickly, we did have to wait as there were many waiting for takeaways. So saying we weren't in a hurry and when the food arrived it was delicious as was the coffee. A nice way to start our trip back home.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to play golf and enjoyed it so much came back for lunch on the way home. Lovely friendly staff, very reasonably priced lovely meals and great portion sizes. Highly recommend the mango smoothie

Great customer service,
I think it was past closing time but they managed to accommodate the 6 of us , with some lunches and much needed coffee’s.
Lunch was great and the coffee was nice and hot . Thank you so much for fitting us in, even though you all had a very busy day.

Stopped for coffee heading for Sydney and beyond. Nice place to relax and we have had nice meals here before. Mainly breakfast.
But this time only coffee and a bad coffee, not even trying to be coffee. Milk froth just disappeared not coffee taste just milky and tasteless. It’s not had to make a half decent coffee…….just a commitment to make good coffee.

Stopped for brunch. Had their big breakfast and coffee. Meal was lovely, plenty on the plate. Great service and meal beautifully cooked. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Great stop if passing through Kangaroo Valley.

Opens early so great for a coffee on the way to golf. Serves breakfast which looked and smelt wonderful. The cafe was busy each morning I visited and the coffee was great.

Sensational staff who are very welcoming. Coffee is the best I have enjoyed for many year's. We had bacon and egg roll.and chicken schnitzel and salad roll. Absolutely beautiful. A must place to.visit when you are down this way. We will be back. Thank you all for your friendly manner. Best wishes, Steve and Marie
NB. The gent in the kitchen is such a hard worker. The young Barista os very bubbly.
