If you can't get into anything else then there is always The Anchorage as you can go there anytime of day. Its a good casual selection of meals for B/L/D. You can also get fresh baked bread and yummy but expensive pies

Central location, good menu, and the best place to buy bread. The Anchorage is one of the few restaurants on the island that is open every day from breakfast through dinner.

Each meal here was awesome. We had brunch one day, lunch one day & dinner another. Each meal was tasty, presented to the highest standard and friendly staff. More on the expensive side but worth the splurge. Only downside was the icecream was really powdery. Could not recommend this more highly.

During our LHI stay we visited The Anchorage quite a few times, the first being dinner on our first night. The Anchorage has a layed back vibe, much like the rest of the Island really. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was awesome, flavoursome and well presented, seafood curry was among the best I've had. Other visits were for... More

We enjoyed stopping for coffee or a pre-dinner drink. Very relaxed, great ambiance And we had a very enjoyable meal one evening. And they bake great bread daily! Enjoyed the sourdough with seeds.
