The title of this review says it all really. If you want flavoursome pies that are made with top quality meat and great pastry, go to the local butchers. These beauties are only $5 and come in a number of varieties and can be bought hot or cold. Red Neds pies are passable and so too are their sausage rolls.... More

I have lived locally for a few years, and always passed this place with the Ned Kelly figure out the front and through 'that looks a bit strange, but I wonder what their pies are like'; never having made the effort to try them. If you like pies, you will love this place! So many different varieties its impossible to chose! I had African chicken and my partner had steak and mushroom, both were super tasty!

My family have been visiting Red Ned's Gourmet Pies for many years. We make it a must stop every time we come to Nelson's Bay to visit this highly awarded shop. Wide range of delicious pies, I had a drunken beef steak pie floater which was great. My daughter had a plain mince beef pie which she thought was delicious. Friendly customer service.

If you are ever in Nelson Bay, one must visit Red Neds pies. With over 50 varieties of pies to choose from, you cannot get board of this place. If you are a true pie fan like myself, you must tick this shop to your bucket list. Prices are reseasonable, however the quality is outstanding.

If you want to try award winning pies this is the place to go. We have been buying pies from this shop for the last 12 years and the quality never changes, only improves, and with more than 50 different varieties you are spoilt for choice. They also sell pasties, cheese melts and sweet tarts and tartlets.

Not a fan of beef meat pies, we ventured here to check out the huge pie menu, every conceivable flavour from plain meat to thai , to chilli crab pies. This store has won a huge amount of first prizes at the SYDNEY EASTER SHOW. The show is decorated with ribbons and photos and all the stuff you would expect... More
