My husbund and I live in the area so we were trying all of the restaurants. We heard so many positive reviews and so off we went with high hopes. When we arrived there was an older woman who totally ignored us for 15 minutes. When we finally got her attention she acted like she was doing us a favor... More

My husband and I have been here many times and always had a top notch dinner. We both love the entres and desserts that are prepared tableside and on a cold evening, love to sit near the fireplace.

The musty smell is what strikes first, and then you look around and can see why it smells the way it does.

We were concerned that there was only one car in the parking lot 7 PM Sat., Service was great, cocktail nice, toasted bread very tasty as were vegetables and baked potato with entree. We both had filet mignon - excellent, melt in your mouth tender, broiled to med. rare perfection. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices. Barbara, our waitress... More

Being from Manhattan, having lived in Tokyo and Rome I have been to many world class restaurants. The Cascade lodge really felt like a lodge for a wonderfully relaxing dinner in the country. The Steak Diane was excellent. My wife had the Crab Cakes and enjoyed them thoroughly. The Ceasar Salad for two was great (made with a bit of... More

Haven't been here for a while. The last time we were there, we ate in the upstairs dining room and had the whole "cook your dinner next to your table routine" that they do. It was ok. The atmosphere in the whole place was a bit off however. There were not that many patrons in the restaurant at the time... More

Went there for a wedding reception. Was back in 60's, which was height of vacation getaways to areas such as this. Food for reception was very good and service was excellent. Wedding cake was baked by owner and was delicious, as well as beautiful. I would love to go back and try their regular menu, as they have dishes prepared... More

Talk about one person ruining Mother's Day! We arrived at the Lodge for Mother's Day (This is my FAVORITE destination!). My husband and sons and I were seated, and there was a large party made up of primarily children with a few adults situated on the far side of the dining room. Their table was NOISY- a crying child (who... More
