If you haven't visited El Serrano along Lancaster's Columbia Avenue lately, you haven't visited El Serrano. Or, perhaps it is more appropriate to say, you haven't visited Peru. Every square inch of the Latin-American restaurant has been extensively redesigned, upgraded and refurbished authentically, with architectural details similar to those of 150 years ago--to the point that stepping through its hand-carved mahogany doors is like entering a Peruvian hacienda. As owner Manuel Torres says, "it's like going on vacation."
The food and service were both wonderful. We will be going back. Nice decor too!
Live musician came to table and offered to sing Happy Birthday and play his guitar. He sang it in Spanish and English! Nice touch to the evening!

The ambiance here is wonderful. The staff have always been so nice and the food and drinks are fabulous. Some tables are better than others but for the most part no matter where you're seated the place is just gorgeous.
