A break from today's more modern fast food chains and fake "retro style", but not original, silk city diners. Lots of choices on their menu. We really... More

Have never had anything I didn't like. Small town type restaurant. Prices are great. Kitchen is small so sometimes a back up on grill, but that's part of the small town feel.

Asking three times for a glass of water is ridiculous - and absolutely no apologies!? Incredibly long wait to get our breakfasts, and no apologies for the long wait, either. They need some serious attention to the bathroom plumbing or something! My goodness- and it sneaks up on you! It took the waitress more... More

If you do decide to eat here, the best food is the creamed chipped beef and the best bread is the rye. Their baked oatmeal is pretty good as well. I would steer clear of the fruit!!! I... More

I use to enjoy the Salunga Diner. Things have changed! I will never go back after my last experience. Waitresses were rude. They were busy talking to each other and not checking to see if we needed anything. We were almost finished with our meal before she came over to refill our coffee mugs, and that was after several attempts... More
