We recently visited Ligonier and had a lovely dinner at the tavern... many great drink and appetizer selections. No rush atmosphere led to a truly enjoyable evening.

REAL Sheppard's Pie! Heavenly! And hubby ADORES the Portobello Burger! Kudos to the cook, Bobby, and our fabulous waitress, Chrissy! Thank you for finishing our day with a most grateful, contented smile! S&D

Awesome experience all around. Have been here many times on Sundays for brunch. The Eisenhower waffle is outstanding. Our wonderful server, Chrissy, informed us that the tavern was so busy the day before that some supplies were low, and there was no brunch menu today. No problem, we ordered Alice's crispy chicken sandwich, which is the same chicken that's served... More

A wonderful for causal or business lunch. We had a wonderful table beside a window and the fireplace (dining in February). Our waitress, Chrissy, was very pleasant, prompt with service and helpful with the menu. The menu ranges from standard american fare to delightfully inspired chief creations. I had the Ahi Tuna Tacos with Jalepeno Coleslaw that was delish! The... More

We happened to be in Greensburg and decided to drive to Ligonier for lunch. Found the Ligonier Tavern. A lovely, quaint place. I ordered the lamb burger which was cooked by Rebecca and was delish! I had not had a lamb burger in years. I rarely see this on any menu, so I had to go for it. This was... More

Great Food, Great Service! Great Price! Took friends there for their first time. They were impressed. I made a reservation which was honored. We were immediately seated with many people standing in line. Service was quick. Ask for Chrissy. Food was prepared to perfection thanks to cooks (Bobby & Jesse). Any time we are near Ligonier, this will be our... More

For years, I had somewhat of a mixed opinion of this establishment after seeing its busy/open deck/wild side during Fort Days. We visited during a cabin stay at a nearby state park in January, and it couldn't have been nicer. The little dining room was cozy, quiet, and nice. The food was excellent, the drinks were good, and I absolutely... More

Fond memories of great food brought us back for dinner tonight, but we left disappointed. Lackluster service, all the veggies were undercooked and pretty tasteless and prices were too high for the quality of the food. Meatloaf, salmon and burgers were good but the side dishes and service just weren't. ☹️

our most recent visit to the tavern was during Fort Ligonier days so understandably they were PACKED. They were taking names outside and we waited about 30 minutes for a table around 6:00 right as it started to slow down, there were several empty tables. Our wires took a very long time taking our orders, getting our drinks etc. She... More
