This place is along Route 30, just pull in and entrance door is right there! Great meat, sandwiches, good selection of food. Cozy atmosphere, with very attentive wait staff. Prices great, food plentiful. You won't be disappointed! Kid friendly, solo, or family.
Looked too good to pass by on the way to Ligonier. So happy we decided to take a shot. Very friendly atmosphere. Service and food were great! Can't wait to get back there.
We love The Road Toad. Were there twice this week. It's a cozy and inviting place with a nice menu with lots of choices and great daily specials. It's our "go to" place to meet friends. We had friends in from out of town. They suggested we go there and even though we were there the night before, we were... More
Had dinner at The Road Toad recently. Service was very good, our meals were good , not great. I had crab cakes which were huge! My husband had shrimp and pasta which he said was good. Husband also had onion soup and it was too salty. For dessert we had an apple crisp with ice cream and Carmel sauce. In... More
We had stopped here for dinner with my husbands family before we went to see a play. Our service was wonderful with friendly smiling faces and the food was delicious! We will definitely be coming back! We also had a beautiful view of the creek in the back.
Nice view of the Loyalhanna Creek from the dining room in back. Several tables have window views. There is a deck in back too. Menu is very good - we had Italian dishes that were excellent. Love the Thai shrimp appetizer too.
We stopped in for a beer and the staff was genuine and lovely. The view out the side of the dining room was breathtaking. A mountain stream with fall foliage just starting. We didn't eat there but the food looked great and patrons looked happy.
We recently met friends from Pittsburgh at the Road Toad while we were camping at Ohiopyle. Not the easiest place in the world to fine, but the beautiful drive was well worth it when we arrived to this delicious gem. I enjoyed Chicken Piccata and my husband had Chicken Parmigiana. Both dishes were not only delicious but very nicely complimented... More
