French press coffee in your own little pot. An assorted selection of very creative and delicious salads was my meal. She let me try a little bit of each kind even though that wasn't on the menu. They were all excellent. My husband had a...grilled cheese and apple sandwich which he said was very good. For dessert we had apricot scones with lemon curd--delicious. Lovely atmosphere in a large Victorian house. Excellent service. The whole experience was delightful. When we are in Ligonier again we will definitely stop.More

Such a great little place. I eat here when I am in town. The food is simple, flavorful and quite good. The service is friendly. This feels like a “cool” place to be.

As other reviewers have said, their food is good. We loved their grilled pizza until we noticed they touch everything ( money, jeans, you name it ) and then your food. I am no germaphobe but seeing this and he punches down the dough.. Haven't...gotten it since & the board of health would not approve - not in the cafe or at the Market.More

Great place to spend a Friday evening- out on the porch eating pizza. Don't miss Mexican night. Excellent salads.

Located just up the street from Fort Ligonier in the first floor of a house, with casual tables both inside and on the porch. You just walk into the kitchen to order from a selection of elegant prepared salads, grilled cheese sandwiches, frittata, etc. --...all fresh and delicious. I had a slice of frittata with sides of chicken salad and a zucchini salad). Yum!More

This is a small restaurant where a limited but utterly delicious menu is presented. Upon entering, you are directed to the kitchen where you can choose your tea (many selections of loose tea that will be brewed for you), coffee or soft drink. And then,...best of all, the chef will bring out the offerings of the day that are prepared in large bowls so that you can choose what you would like. Options today included two different quiches, chicken curry, cauliflower and pea salad, Greek salad, orzo salad, green salad, potato and dill soup and two different types of grilled cheese sandwiches. I had the cauliflower and pea salad (that was so good that I bought some to take home) plus a grilled cheddar cheese on homemade wheat bread with sliced apple and cranberry chutney. Oh my...my kind of food - so tasty and fresh.More

We visited on a quiet weekday morning and really enjoyed french press coffees. Should have made it breakfast; the hotel fare was nothing to write home about...

We wandered in to this little cafe unsure of what to expect. When we asked for the menu we were invited right into the kitchen of this 100 year old house. Once there the hostess (chef?) told us about every thing on the menu and...even showed us the 5 or 6 homemade salads they had for that day. She knew about all of their teas and recommended the perfect one. My friends had the grilled cheese special and it blew us all away. My salad plate was beautiful, fresh and deliscious. Go there!!More

My partner and I toured around the fort nearby in the afternoon on a Friday. Afterwards we were looking for a lunch spot. We arrived at connections cafe right as they were closing (3 pm) without realizing. The owner said that she would still allow...us to eat if we wanted since she had a few things to finish up. We were very excited, so kind of her! She showed us the vegan options on the menu and there were many salads and pastas to choose from. The kale salad and peanut noodle dish were our favourites. After greasy American food for weeks it was exactly what we were craving. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Would highly recommend eating here!More

There is no set menu for this little place because they change it up every day. Everything was delicious. They seem to have a passion for good food. They also have an extensive tea selection. I plan on going back.

They had a few gluten free things (pastries) when I was there last. Their menu changes every day so if this is important for you, Id call and ask just to make sure.
