I went to the Tokyo Diner because of reviews I had read. The menu was ordinary and I thought the prices a bit high.

We love Hibachi. We love this place. We were such regulars here they would have a bucket of ice water on the table when we arrived for our byob. The wait staff was wonderful and kind and the food delicious. Unfortunately, we read a recent article in the local newspaper that states they have had many health department violations including... what a delightful find. fresh Sushi, no unpleasant smells. good taste. But the tempura was to die for. light. perfectly fried. absolutely No Oily Taste - even when I was still nibbling 25 minutes later. my friend and I will return but next time we will BOTH get the tempura.

Previously reviewed other side of restaurant. Came with a teenager and extended family. The habachi show was much less than we see in New Jersey and only a shadow of what Benihana did when they started out. The food itself was fine and the portions are normal sized. I remember when the rice/noodle serving was much larger. Still it's fine... More

Came here for sushi and we left satisfied. They have lots of different rolls to choose from and the prices were pretty reasonable. We got our sushi pretty quickly and the rolls were a nice size. It wasn't the best sushi I've ever had, but it was still good! Staff was friendly and the restaurant was decorated nicely. I would... More

My kids clean their plate here, which says a lot for picky eaters. Chefs are fun to watch and very personable. We have been going here for years and are never disappointed in quality and quantity.

The staff is always friendly when you are greeted. Depending on the day of the week, seating can take a while. But when people are willing to wait, that says a lot about the food. You won't be sorry. Good menu with plenty of items to order from.

We have been coming to the Tokyo Diner for years. Visually the place is not much to look at, so if your flavor is ambience, pick another place. If you're interested in really good food - Hibachi or Sushi - this is a great option. Our plates are always overflowing with tasty treats and the staff are usually 100% accommodating.
