Wanted Italian for an early dinner so decided to try Gateway Grill. Disappointed that there were no pastas on the menu and wasn't really up for pizza or a sandwich. I ended up with the Rib Appetizer Combo. The ribs were flavorful but a little dry, the marinara with the provolone sticks was very good, and the potato skins were... More

Very friendly staff! Pork chops were tasty and mashed potatoes were yummy. The ribs are awesome and the hoggies are satisfactory. I have been here a couple times and will probably go back. A little pricy for what you get, but overall I'm happy!

Had pizza, hoagie, ribs, and salmon. Salmon was slow arriving but worth the wait. Everything else was superb. Ribs fell off the bone. Pizza and Hoagie were great.

Met some friends here for a late lunch/early dinner on Saturday afternoon. Busy, but not packed. The food portions were huge. The calzone was wonderful and the small was large enough for two people. Definitely a place that I would go back to.

Wait was only about 20 min wait around the 6:30pm hour on Sat evening. Staff very courtesy and friendly. Sports bar atmosphere. Great food. Delicious, hot, and nice portion sizes. Affordable. Walking distance to couple hotels. A bit crowded while waiting but worth it. Definitely would return if we were back in the area.

Great ribs, pizzas are ginormous. Wood fired steaks. Atmosphere is louder with lots of beer flowing. Every Pittsburgh sporting event is being played live. Friendly younger staff, quickly serving everyone. Not a fancy place, but great food!

Visit during broadcast of the first finial 4 basketball games. A TV places everywhere you looked. The place was very crowded but noise level allowed conversation. Service was excellent and surprisingly fast as our meals arrived in about 10 minutes. Food was very good, will go back

Sports bar atmosphere, not too terribly loud. Food is good. Breakfasts are excellent - do not miss the cinnamon roll!!! Lunches and dinners - great pizza, thick or thin crust; good burgers. All kinds of subs. Incredible fall-from-the-bone ribs. Great beer list. French fries are not good... soft and uninteresting - when they figure out how to produce nice crisp... More

The food was great here. We had prime rib and ribs and they were fabulous! This restaurant has a casual, fun sports bar kind of vibe. The service was excellent and friendly. It was a little loud but that was the charm everyone enjoying themselves. We will definitely go back on the way to Pitt

We had the pizza and Stromboli. Osth were really good. Even thought the pizza was called "mini" it is a 12" pizza and even took home one piece. Peppers were fresh. Also had the "small" Stromboli but did not leave hungry, it was a generous portion with sauce on the side. Would stop again but the atmosphere is loud and... More
