Stopped in here on a trip to New Hope and was so glad I did. The place used to be a church, so it is cool as hell inside. Must be some church mojo in the kitchen because the food was divine and you'll need an intervention to get out because you won't want to leave. Started with the lobster... More

We recently dined at Marsha Brown's a mainstay in New Hope. We were curious to see how the experience was, after the chef, Caleb, left to open his own restaurant. The menu has not changed, and the atmosphere is really nice. There were many positives, such as the aforementioned atmosphere and food. Everyone liked their dishes, but two out of... More

I had the pleasure of dining at Marsha Browns for about the 3rd or 4th year in a row (for my birthday). It was great to be back to the same place and have our same (favorite) waiter, Jack take care of us. Each meal has been excellent and the place is sooo special.

Excellent southern cuisine with excellent service. This is fine dining done right. Architecture of space is breathtaking and the whole experience will not be soon forgotten. Make a reservation for sure since it is always busy. This restaurant is frequented by celebs from Philly quite often and you might spot one while dining. Try and go on a weekday and... More

Dined during Restaurant week. Though the menu was pre-fixe, the entree options ranged to satisfy everyone. The portions were of a perfect size. Appropriate time was given between courses as not to rush. Rebecca was our waitress. The entire wait staff was fantastic. Don't forget to check out the decor. Two of us dined for $120. Four course meal, including... More

Marsha Brown's had delicious creole food as well as good steaks. Apparently the owner also had several Ruth's Chris steakhouses at one time, so they do steaks as well. I had the crab and shrimp ophelia. The grandma's custard dessert was sinfully sweet--definitely good to split. The atmosphere is also unique, as it is in an old church. Oh, and... More

Went with a group of 6 for lunch. Had a private. Had the lobster bisque which was hearty and yummy along with the church burger...others had the po boy oyster sandwich and cheese steak. all were delicious. Carrot cake for dessert and coffee portions are good size. Love the main dining room..

Just walking into this beautiful old church begins a very nice feeling. The second floor dining area is nicely appointed and the food was delicious. Although the Louisiana theme prevails, the menu has a very nice selection of dishes that sound great and taste even better. The service was extremely attentive and complimented the dining experience.

Charming atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful, imaginative dishes, this is a very cool (albeit pricey) spot). And they have a bacon appetizer which satisfies even my bacon fanaticism!
