Hidden gem in an alley in New Hope. Great coffee and delicious pastries. Maybe even nicer if they serve the goods in porcelain in stead of paper cups and plates, for the price they charge you would expect that. Nevertheless all the goods look delicious and the Napoleon I had was awesome

We haven't been in New Hope for a while and with Mom's no longer there this may be the best place for desert and coffee. Everything we had was good and the staff was very friendly. Worth trying you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

CLV is picturesque french bakery located down an alley with a place to sit and enjoy the french treats. A charming french pastry chef took our order. The delicious chocolate almond croissant weighed what seemed like a few lbs. Good coffee too.

Great stop for a casual breakfast, great coffee and authentic French delights! Short lines and small payment make this off the beaten path stop a must. Enjoy the river view and outdoor seating only for authentic French breakfasts and desserts.

Oh...my...God! If you like pastry, cookies, or anything with sugar in it, go here! We bought some fresh-baked cookies, and when I went to get one out of the bag, i though there were two cookies stuck together. Instead, it was one thick, scrumptious tasting chocolate chip. There are plenty of selections, and they have coffee as well. For those... More

Making a decision on what you will eat (or eat first) is the only problem at this tiny pastry gem. My husband and I tried two treats, promising to share, but they were both so good we would only give each other a tiny bite. Lol. Alex, the baker/owner's son greeted us with the friendliest smile. We sat down and... More

What a wonderful and delicious family-run French bakery right on the Delaware River! Grab a pastry or baguette and enjoy it on their patio overlooking the river.. Life does not get better! And, owners are super nice people (husband is from France), and they live right above the bakery. So charming, will come again and again and again!

Ordered cookies from C'est La Vie to use as favors at my son and his new brides wedding reception. Everyone loved them. Several of us went the next day for coffee and pastries which were delicious. The owners could not have been nicer.
