Sat at the bar. Bartenders always very friendly and attentive. Chicken pistachio dinner was pretty good, nice accompaniment to the flatter chicken Breast. Green beans topped w shredded cheese an interesting touch.

I read the reviews and was ready to be impressed. Sorry, but it didn't happen. The place has great "curb appeal" and could be a prize winner for interior design. However, you can't eat those things. Our meals were just ok and didn't leave us wanting more. I wouldn't categorize it as "all foam and no beer." I'd call it... More
I've been a customer for over 30 yrs; although, we say we'll order something else, we end up splitting the pork chops, w 2 sides. Not regular run of the mill Pork chops....These are a generous portion size (2) marinated in apple brine, then grilled. Served with 2 sides & Talonika bread (& spiced olive oil dipping sauce), it's like... More
Our party arrived at 11:30 before the lunch rush and we were glad that we did. We had good service and our meals were served in a very timely manner. Each of the three of us ordered sandwiches, with coleslaw, and found them to be very tasty.
Go early for the specials...can't beat it. Love the fried calamari. For me, it is consistently good. Service is always excellent and friendly. Just wish I lived closer.
I love our Lunch time visits with my family at Hoffstot's Cafe Monoco. This restaurant always serves good food. I ate the Boston style Cod which was excellent. My sister ate the mini crab cake also an outstanding choice. Portions are a good size also. What more to ask for good food and enjoyable company.
We always go here when visiting the Oakmont Bakery(which is next door). The food, service and décor are all wonderful.
Café Monaco delivers charm, ambiance and superb service. It is always a pleasure to return for a festive event, such as Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve dinner. No disappointments. The only suggestion would be, changing of the olive oil bread dip, to a more flavorful and simpler recipe. The tomato base does not do it justice.
For year, we've been coming to this place for business and for pleasure. very convenient, because is a great place, right outside the city, so you do not need to drive all the way to downtown for a great dinner. Food is excellent, desserts are to die for but the service is excellent. The Bar is one of the bext... More
