We stopped to visit friends who live in Phoenixville. A great, fun, happening little town I had never heard of. Our friends own a tasting room (Black Walnut Winery tasting room) next to Majolica so they know the chef and staff. All food coming out...More

Majolica is a small, attractive restaurant In Phoenixville, PA. It is a sophisticated atmosphere complete with a brick wall and copper covered tables. The service is attentive....excellent. I had the oysters as a starter....served on a small bed of seaweed....no ice....very good. My main meal...More

We had the tasting menu- excellent! The tuna tartare on a homemade potato chip- delightful! The English pea soup with crab was delicious...I highly recommend the tasting menu for an epicurean treat! The regular menu is also wonderful.

nice dinner for 2 -- food was not like the very first time and not as good as our second visit. Portions small but service good and close to home . Nice to bring your own bottle

Beautiful ambiance. Quiet and very professional. Started with frog legs and the veal sweetbread. I’m normally not a fan of frog legs, but these were delicious, tender and not remotely fishy. The palate cleanser was a cucumber and sea salt sorbet. I could have eaten...More

We dine here every two months throughout the year and always have a flavorful gourmet meal made with fresh local ingredients. Last night we enjoyed the Beet Salad and the Grilled Radicchio Salad. Both salads combined fresh ingredients to create great flavor. We both had...More

This is a restaurant I’ve heard good things about and may be more suited to those who like frog legs, octopus, squid or sweetbreads. Reservations are recommended- the restaurant is small and there’s a limited number of tables. And it’s a BYOB. AppetIzers sampled were...More

One of the best meals we’ve had for quite a while, and certainly as goo£ as anything we’ve eaten in Philly. Oysters, octopus, squid, all top notch and imaginatively cooked and presented. Preceded by a succession of ‘on the house’ canapés of impressive quality, all...More

We went here for a special occasion and decided to try the 6 course tasting menu. We thought the sunchoke soup, fried polenta, grilled octopus, and duck cassoulet were outstanding! The earl grey ice cream dessert with shortbread cookies was very good. The radicchio salad...More

The menu changes a bit seasonally. I have Celiac and had the beet salad, the grilled octopus, garbanzo, and feta salad, and had the duck. The chef will accommodate you needs with great finesse.
