Sub par for the reputation. Of the three streak ordered only one was comes correctly, others over done. Single lobster dry and less than tender- if double lobster was ordered for the price would have been super disappointing. The company and atmosphere made up for the poor quality of food. 😏😕

Made reservations to be close to airport. Staff was aware in advance of dietary restrictions and told me before I had to say anything. Server was very friendly and attentive. The manager came to the table twice to make sure our meals and everything was OK. I felt very relaxed and comfortable that I could talk to my friend and enjoy my meal and not worry about my allergies. My steak (filet mignonette)was cooked medium rare as requested it was very good. Baked potato and asparagus was good. My friend got the chicken dish and liked it. Chardonnay was cold, (which doesn’t always happen!) I was pleasantly surprised at the top-notch service and food

Some positives but not worth it

First impression; the place was very dark and cold (temp) somewhat upscale decor. Was greeted by the waitress promptly. She was brief like she was in a hurry and somewhat awkward. No specials, she explained that they were known for steaks that came all the way from Chicago (wow). Ordered drinks, they came promptly then the appetizer which actually came way too fast. This is a red flag for me. Calamari was tasty but not at all special. No bread was brought to the table. Ordered dinner, all dinners are a la cart. Dinner was brought by a bus boy, never saw our waitress again until we were almost done eating (horrible). We were never asked if we needed anything until it was too late. No condiments or parmigiana cheese was offered. A younger companion got a Rocky Bleier Burger, it was very tasty but tiny with average fries for $19. Chili's would have been a better option for this meal. Shrimp Scampi over Linguine; Pasta portion was very small (seriously?), Very tasty, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked however is was on the dry side needed more oil/butter? / but the waitress was no where to found to help. $28. NY strip; tasted outstanding perfectly cooked, was ordered with mushrooms that were excellent $58. Potato was $8. Bill with 4 drinks tax and tip was over $200. Table service was absolute minimal, worse than you would expect in a cheap diner. Sooo never again. I do not recommend. If it weren't for corporate spending accounts this restaurant would not exist.

Ruined New Year's Eve

Made reservation for 9:30 for New Year's Eve. Arrived & seated early at 9:15 but order not taken for about 20 minutes - yes, they were busy. Food arrived fairly promptly - say 10 minutes or so. We had finished eating our entrees at around 10:30 and it became obvious that they were ready to close. The waitstaff made it clear that it was time to leave so no dessert, etc. This left us feeling really uncomfortable. My daughter heard that they'd hoped to close at 10:00 p.m.!! Why take reservations for 9:30 then. Well, we learned our lesson about trying to eat there on New Year's Eve again.

We went to Ditka's today to celebrate my sister's birthday. We were hesitant to tell the truth. In the Covid era, many of our favorite restaurants were just not the same and whenever we would go to other places, it was just not the same. To our utter delight, Ditka's was Great. Starting off with drinks, my one sister had a martini which she described as good as before Covid. Another person had Mike's Bloody Mary which was huge, hot and had shrimp skewers plus a beer chaser. Two of us had the special of twin fillets with a crab cake on top. Just perfect, done just like we wanted and very tasty. Another had the ribs which were huge and she had to take half home for dinner the next day. To top off the evening, a complimentary chocolate cake with ice cream as a birthday surprise. Our waitress was great. Wish I can remember her name but she was so efficient and personable. We haven't had such wonderful service in a long time. I would highly recommend Ditka's in Pittsburgh for a nice evening out to everyone.

Scrumptious fresh food in delightful restaurant

Delicious fresh food … the best we’ve experienced in a Pittsburgh!We we’re celebrating my husband birthday and they gave him a delicious piece of chocolate cake which was very sweet of them. The brunch menu is extensive … something for everyone .( I had two mimosas….. a bargain at $6 each and avocado and lobster omelette…. Delicious…. But I was totally spoilt for choice.) My husband loved the pork chop…. Perfectly cooked and our son said the burger…. Clearly using good meat…. Was the best he’s had in Pittsburgh) The service is friendly and very professional… nothing was too much bother. The wine list is extensive and the property is beautifully clean. As for the final bill…. Very good value for the quality of the whole experience. I highly recommend Ditka’s and I’m booking now for next month…. I can see it’s going to be our regular haunt(we’ve been here five years and finally found our go to place after many unsuccessful attempts at other Pittsburgh restaurants).

Fantastic Meal

So great to finally have dinner in a restaurant!! This was the perfect choice for us to celebrate our anniversary and get a fantastic meal at the same time. The prime rib, which we ordered in advance, and the King Salmon were both excellent and the salads were also. We had the brussels sprouts, which were tough to chew so we wouldn't recommend them if you don't like undercooked vegetables . Our server, Sherry, was very efficient and personable. She helped make our anniversary a special occasion. The entire experience was extremely pleasurable and we will definitely return!!

First off, Shannon, our server was exceptional! The entire staff was friendly, accommodating, and eager to please us. Now the food - unbelievably delicious! Coffee rubbed Delmonico was cooked to perfection, and quite honestly the best steak I ever had. The oysters on the half shell were a bit small, but fresh and the cocktail sauce was perfect. The Day Boat Scallops again, were cooked to perfection. Not a fan of risotto, so I won't judge. And-do not pass up the Coconut Shrimp with a perfect bang bang sauce or the Raspberry Smash Martini. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary, and they threw in a delicious piece of Chocolate cake with ice cream that even my husband enjoyed (he's not a fan of chocolate). Expensive but worth every dime!

We were in the Pittsburgh area for the night, from Baltimore, and followed the recommendations of a friend to give this place a shot while we were here. We arrived and were seated and introduced to our server. The atmosphere is quite nice and our servers manners were impeccable. We ordered the signature nachos which came out promptly and packed a lot of flavor. I enjoyed the little kick in the shredded beef. I followed that up with a burger and everything came out hot and satisfying. Wife had the lobster Mac and ooohed and ahhhed over it. The other couple had great things to say about their meal and all of us salivated over the desserts. The cheesecake and crème brûlée was destroyed in our attempt to slip into a sugar induced state of mind. Overall great experience and excellent service for us.

prices were decent as well as service. where they lose it is in the quality of their dishes. food came out within 15 min. what does that tell you? Ribs must have been sitting around for while. completely dried out and tough. the chicken piccata flavor was not that good. i dont recommend the short rib nachos as they were barely edible and their pork chop was dry and overcooked. chocolate layer cake was dry and did not have enough raspberry sauce. the cheesecake was the only item ordered was good. nice and creamy however the strawberries looked like they were previously frozen. try somewhere else for you hard earned $$. i give it 5/10

I tried this Ditka’s location a couple of years ago and really didn’t think it was worth the money nor worth re-visiting, so I hadn’t until recently when a friend who’d never been wanted to go, so we went… four of us as a business dinner. The server was OK and the venue is nice, menu is decent too. But their execution of the food isn’t very good. I started with their crab bisque and it was tasty, but wasn’t hot, like soup normally is. We got their large nachos to share and the beef in them tasted interesting, but these were also not hot; in fact, they were somewhat cool. For my entrée I tried their twin filet medallions with crab cakes. The mashed potatoes were very flavorful, but cool. The green beans were tasty and hot. The filets I asked for medium, but they were well done. I couldn’t even eat the second was, sa it was too tough and dry. I cut into it and showed the server and she acknowledged and asked if I wanted new ones, but at that point, it wouldn’t have mattered, it’s very easy to get this right in the first place, they need to do that, rather than try to make up for it afterwards. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Ditka’s exceeded my expectations. My partners father passed away recently and I was looking for a place to host a memorial service. Jessica and Ryley did a fantastic job at being super attentive, communicative and detail-oriented to our needs. They made sure to provide us with excellent service and to help ease the stress of planning this event by making it as simple as possible. I cannot express enough of how grateful we were to this team and how well everyone worked together. We received many compliments from our guests on the venue and the staff. Shannon was the person assigned to supervise the day of, and she was sure to consistently check-in and ask if i needed anything. She and her team of servers did an amazing job. Not to mention - the food was excellent! I can’t say enough of how pleased we all were with this restaurant and will definitely be coming back soon, hopefully under better circumstances.

Highly recommend if looking for a nice dinner spot. It is on the pricier side but so worth it when you want a high quality meal and atmosphere. 5/5 stars! The food was amazing and so so good! We got the crab bisque, pork chop, & the tagliatelle bolognese pasta and it could not have been better!

Just opened for curbside!

We really miss eating here and were so happy to see they are now open for curbside pick up. Love their filet sliders (although not on the current menu) and crab cakes. Great burger and steaks too! Friendly and accommodating staff.

My wife and I stopped here on Leap year day on our way home from the airport. We have driven by it several times in the past, but this time we decided to give it a try. Boy are we glad we did. I had the salmon and my wife had the crab cake. The prices are mid to upscale depending on what you order. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. If you are in the area I suggest you give it a try.
