We made a reservation and not needed. The staff were very friendly and were very attentive. The food looked interesting on the menu and the presentation was good. The taste was average at best.

I was here two years ago for an exception dinner so this time around in Pittsburgh we thought we'd try it for brunch. We made reservations, but when we arrived at 11 it was not at all busy so I'm not sure if reservations are absolutely neccessary. Brunch portions are decent sized and range from sweet to savory. I had... More

Sat at the bar and had two amazing starters - the leek flan and the cauliflower pierogis. Absolutely beautifully presented and delicious. A nice French Sauv Blanc and a rose rounded out the meal nicely. Service at the bar was professional and gracious. Next time in Pittsburgh, I will return.

They had a set menu with four courses - salmon, pan fried red snapper, lamb shank and creme brûlée - for $40 but everyone needs to to have the same. So we ordered some starter to share and entrée for each. The homemade corn bread was amazing and the starters were very tasty! I had one of the most amazing... More

Went to Spoon to celebrate a friends birthday. Everything from start to finish was on point. Great service, food, drink and atmosphere. We enjoyed our entire night and would certainly go back.

After a long drive from Chicago my husband and I stopped in on a Sunday night. I'm a vegetarian and they modified the sunchoke ravioli for me. My husband got the hamburger and was very pleased.

We only splurge on expensive restaurant meals once or twice a year, and like to go somewhere new-to-us. This year, it was Spoon. Spoon's been around for a while and we've passed it many times. Always was curious about it. Well let me tell you - this is easily one of the best restaurant meals I've ever had in Pittsburgh,... More

On trend urban style restaurant with a warm, pleasant environment. Menu choices are good with a nice variety, but quality was a little unvern. Prices are somewhat high for the portion size. Service is very good. It's a bit of a hike from downtown even though the distance is not that far.

Spoon has a not large but very lovely dining area, service was very good. I ordered the sunchoke ravioli, it was enough for me, 3 ravs, but would not probably be enough for someone with a fair appetite ( I was going to say enough for a man but I don't want to appear sexist). They focus on quality, farm... More

I went with some friends for restaurant week and al of us got the special. The bread was in nice small portions so that you did not just fill up on bread! The appetizer was a smoked blue fish which was fantastic! The entree was a lobster bucatini, which the pasta was done perfectly al dente, but I was a... More
