We had a good meal. Generous portions. Some creative culinary dishes. Omelets were very good. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient.

I am a Pittsburgh native and believe me when I say this place has the best breakfast! For a small diner, they move very fast! The waiters/waitresses and cooks move very fast and I always leave satisfied! There is usually a long line to get in but it is worth it! I always get the chocolate chips pancake (perfect if... More

Featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives...Breakfast is fantastic, the best home fries I've had since growing up on Long Island, my Dad couldn't do any better. Lots of options, and even keeps the health conscious in mind. If you come on the weekend be prepared to wait, stay in line, and have your party ready. This is not a place... More

I don't eat at many places that cost $31 for two people for lunch, especially a grilled chicken salad. The food was decent, the atmosphere was old school diner, but the cost was outrageous. I will go back only when the other person is paying.

I went for breakfast after hearing good things. I was a little disappointed, especially with the biscuits. I was expecting homemade from scratch biscuits, but they tasted more like frozen Grands. The workers were very nice and knew everyone by name. Locals love it. Food was served hot and freshly repaired. Coffee very good, and they kept refilling promptly.

Great diner that was featured on DDD. When we went it wasn't busy at all. The staff offered suggestions of food to try. Service was excellent and food was yummy! The best was the cinnamon roll with ice cream.

Good diner food. Service was good, food was good. I wouldn't say there was anything exceptional about it, but if you want a decent diner meal in a good amount of time, go here!

Hubby and I sat down at a table and the waitress brought menus.....sticky syrup all over table, and now my sleeves. Food was very mediocre-eggs, sausage, pancakes. But here's what tipped me over the edge: another waitress was filling salt and pepper shakers. As she opened the lid, she dropped it on the floor. It landed under the table, where... More

Always wanted to try this place ever since we seen it on DDD but live in Alabama. Passed through Pittsburgh today so made it a priority. Needless to say it was excellent. The atmosphere was just what you would expect from an old fashioned dive style diner. The pumpkin pancakes and homemade sausage were fantastic. Wished Kelly was there to... More

Famous coffee? Famously bad, maybe. It's so unbearably loud that contain is nearly impossible. The seats are uncomfortable - both the booths and the tables. The food is good but the noise and the coffee are enough to make me stay away.
