The service was swift and attentive, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Free small tapas-like dishes created a feeling of authenticity and "refills" for some were offered. The place was clean and not noisy (except for a rather horrendous TV screen and music emanating from it - the one negative point that would bring my rating to 4.5 if... More

This is the 3rd time I tried and give up. Hours difficult and must check website first. Also closed on national holidays when kids off school and you want to do something cultural with them.

I stopped here for lunch one day. I had not eaten Korean food, so can't say if it is authentic or not. It tasted pretty good. The only thing that put me off was the enormous quantity of food I was served. I was having lunch alone, and there was no room left on the table. I ordered chicken and... More

Delicious and authentic food. We had spent 3 weeks in S. Korea, mostly eating the local food and this was very good. They even had the meat bone soup that was called "hangover soup" in S. Korea and they recognized it by that name when we asked for it, even though that name wasn't on the menu. The seafood pancake... More

My husband and I came here for our Valentine's meal this year and were not disappointed. We've recently started dining at Korean restaurants as we've realized a love of Korean food. For our first trip to Green Pepper, we ordered steamed dumplings, bulgogi (Korean beef BBQ), and my husband had the seafood soup (not sure of the name) and we... More

Green Pepper had excellent food, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff! Brought my Dad (who is a little older and doesn't frequently try new things) and he can't wait to go back! Definitely recommend!

We were looking for something Asian that was not humdrum. Also we wanted to be careful with nutrition and eat healthily and not expensively. The Green Pepper filled the bill perfectly. For an appetizer, we had the steamed beef dumplings, which were large and plentiful (8 dumplings) and delicious. Before the appetizer arrived, they served us three side dishes: broccoli,... More

Great Korean food, very well priced. My Korean friends really enjoy eating here. Good atmosphere, good waitstaff, very clean. A great place for Korean food in Pittsburgh.

We stopped for lunch and ordered lily tea. My wife had an upset stomach and wanted a light soup. When nothing appealed to her we decided to leave. Imagine my shock when I got the bill for TEN DOLLARS for two cups of WATER basically since the tea had no taste. it wasn't even brewed---ten dollars for two tea bags.... More

Definitely going to visit here again. This was my first time trying Korean food, and the menu was interesting to explore. Each entree comes with 3 sides served on small plates, perfect for sharing and sampling. The prices seem high, but you get plenty of food and we were even served a cool tea afterwards. The service was friendly and... More
