Having recently been in Spain we were looking forward to comparing the food. Meeting friends that we see once or twice a year a long evening of conversation was what we hoped for. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable and we tried everything, the Paella was authentic and the service was unobtrusive but helpful. In short the evening... More

There are has been a lot of pretenses of offering Spanish Tapas , but Pallantia is the real thing and Pittsburgh need to support authenticity . The Restaurant is elegant and quiet , the food is excellent and the Paella exceed expectation even for some one that know the real thing in Spain. The Restaurant is new in the city,... More

The five of us had a good meal and good service on Saturday night. My favorite was the Queso Frito but we scarfed everything. Don't pass up the sage ice cream if they have it - surprisingly delicious.

You can't be serious, previous reviewer! By far the least over-seasoned tapas experience ever! 3 of us went thru grilled octopus, lamb sliders with blue cheese dressing, flank steak sampler and chorizo platas. There is far more than "garlic" in the air at this place. All unique flavors with no chance for "palate fatigue", that's the beauty of tapas experience.... More

This restaurant smells like garlic and the food is laden with an overwhelming amount of garlic. I like garlic when it tastes good but the amounts of garlic used in their food is sickening. This is also one of those restaurants where the chef does not want diners to have salt or pepper available. When asked for them we were... More

When I was looking to found out about this restaurant I read really good things, but unfortunately can't say about this place in the same positive way. First of all coctails-they are really expensive and tastes like jusst pure vodka.Second food-the portions not small they are reallly small, when I asked weitress how small are the portions she said that they... Outstanding meal. Thank you so very much. Your team does a fantastic job. We had 2 small cheese plates, 2 salads and 2 tortillas to start. Boquerones and Funghi were fantastic. Followed by Bistec, Pulpo, Patatas Bravas and Albonigas (steak, octopus, potatoes, lamb meatballs). Who knew we could find such wonderful food only blocks from the house. Keep up the... More

Service is excellent and all dishes were simply perfect: flavors, plating, taste. Their padrones peppers are very typical and well prepared. Garlic shrimp, cod deep dish and sautéed potatoes are to die for. Highly recommended. Rob the waiter from Scotland ads a happy touch to the whole ensemble :) The owner, Gonzalo is as authentic as can be and will... More

While the service was very good we were disappointed with the tapas. Everything seemed to be drowning in spices and/or sauces so the taste of the meats was drowned out. It was a disappointing experience. Sad.

Authentic Tapas y Paella from Spain. We work with imported traditional products from Spain and local suppliers to bring Spain closer than you think. Tapas is at the heart of the Pallantia experience, like we do in Spain!!
