Five friends went to The Frick for lunch on Sunday. We wondered why there weren't many people there, but after our lunch we knew exactly why! The food was simply dreadful!  There wasn't one good meal between the five of us.  We go out often,...More

After my son and I visited here last year we wanted to take my husband too. We all enjoy tea and what's more fun than feeling like we're in St. James Park again by sitting outside enjoying a pot in this Guilded Era setting. The...More

We did the afternoon tea outside. Defiantly worth it for a special treat. They have an excellent selection of teas and the sandwiches and cakes were nice. May not be good for young children. Out teen age kids loved it. It's a little expensive but...More

The food (try the Halibut if they have it!) and the atmosphere are fabulous. Unique recipes and outside dining option is what keeps me coming back. Portions are small, but that leaves you room for dessert!

I have had lunch here twice now both winter and summer. It is a lovely and elegant place to have a leisurely lunch with an inviting menu. The things on the menu are out of the ordinary and dining outside is especially a pleasure.

Café Frick is located in Shadyside on the grounds of the Frick Mansion. It is small, so reservations are required. We usually have lunch there after our tour of the "Gilded Era" home. This is primarily a lunch stop. They only serve dinners on Friday...More

The ambience at the Frick Café is great and the previous (4 months ago) lunch I had there was delicious. The lunch items that we ordered on Mother's Day were below par. Two of us had Crab Cake Benedict. Our entrees included many pieces of...More
