It was a normal breakfast. Staff will push for the buffet. It's not bad but nothing great. Did have a menu for you to chooase from if you don't want the buffet.

We ate at this restaurant a few times during our stay. We ate there 3 mornings in a row for breakfast. The 3rd day, the food quality was down from previous days. They were very busy that day so I figure that's why. We had dinner there our first night. The food was good. The Pittsburg Fries are amazing. We... More

Staying @ the Marriott for business, went in for breakfast. Service was average, and pushed for the buffet. Buffet was typical of any big city hotel restaurant, so ordered traditional breakfast, 2 over easy, ham, rye toast. Toast was cool, as was ham, eggs ok. Unimpressed, especially at the typical hotel price point.

This restaurant is located inside the Marriott City Center. It's open for breakfast. They have a really good menu and the buffet breakfast has selections for even the pickiest of eaters.

Had breakfast here during our stay. Breakfast buffet spreads are good. Love the freshly cooked waffles. Ordered Sunny Side Up and they came perfectly. Overall great place to refuel before heading out and explore the steel city.

Hands down the best waffle fries I have ever had. They come in many ways. I had the Philly Steak version. I don't think the Philly sandwich I had in town tasted as good as as these fries did. Great service as well. The bar tender and waitresses were very sweet.

Am a loyal Marriott rewards member and have rarely been disappointed at a Marriott property. The rooms and service at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center were up to my expectations. The meal at Steelhead Brasserie, unfortunately, was not. My dining companions and I ate there on a Sunday evening while on a business trip. The dining room was not busy... More

My husband, myself and another couple ate here while staying at the hotel for the concert. Our waiter was accommodating and friendly. I had a ginger ale and Tito's and was clear I have Celiac and it has to be Tito's bc it's gluten free. When it was delivered the ginger ale was flat, really flat. I explained this and... More

Dinner before Game 5, ate by the bar, it was nuts. The servers were overwhelmed so I'll cut them a break, but we didn't get any drinks until after our food came. We had an appetizer that sucked and the server took it off our bill, but my burger was excellent. We have been here a few times before events... More

We had looked at this restaurant not realizing until we got here that it was in a hotel. The food was absolutely delicious and the vibe was incredible (due, in part I'm sure, to the fact that it's beside the Consol Energy Centre and it was game 5 of the Penguins/Lightening match-up). Service was a bit slow but it was... More
