Really enjoyed the food here. Very good Thai food for Pittsburgh. Smaller place with a great menu and friendly staff. Had a curry that was vegetarian and loved it. Will go back.

For eat in or take out, this place has a great menu, including vegetarian dishes. My favorite is the green chicken curry, but others love their pad thai, mango curry, pumpkin beef curry and their sticky rice with mango dessert.

Thai Cottage is one of the fun restaurants on S. Braddock Avenue in Regent Square. My wife and I have been there several times. It is a BYOB with NO corkage! The staff is very friendly and efficient. There is a tall woman, who is either the owner or the manager, who is terrific - very friendly and engaging. The... More

I picked this place randomly and arrived for early dinner. The food came instantly, amazing. (Only patron in there, but still.) Unfortunately the dish I ordered, Pineapple Fried Rice, failed to impress at all. It was OK. I suspected that it would lack the curry powder typical of this dish, and I was right. Other complaints: peas and carrots from... More

Since Thai Cottage took over the former location of the Green Mango in Regent Square, they have done a wonderful job at keeping the clientele. On weekends, you may need to call ahead for seating. The BYOB is user friendly with no corking fee, the prices are comparable and the food is delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai or Thom... More

Had dinner here last Thursday evening. We were the only people in the restaurant. Lots of take out orders. I had basil beef. My wife had pad see euw with chicken. Both very good BYOB. Great place across the street with literally hundreds of beers. Brought a big bottle of La Fin Du Monde.

I used to live in the Regent Square area and frequented this restaurant's predecessor, The Green Mango. When the Green Mango was sold and re-opened as the Thai Cottage, I was very skeptical. But... dare I say it... I think I'm happy for the change to my old favorite. The menu is expanded and improved, and they have also renovated... More

First time trying Thai food and was very pleased with Thai Cottage. I tried the vegetable pad Thai and it was very flavorful. I appreciate that the diner is asked how spicy they would like their food to be as some may prefer less/more spiciness. The portions are very generous. I ate until I was full and still had a... This restaurant replaces (with new management) the Green Mango Noodle Hut which was in this same spot before the Thai Cottage was born. The food was good in its predecessor and even better in the Thai Cottage
