We have eaten here for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with a lot of choices. Dinner offers a smaller menu. Their steak was delicious and tender. The restaurant does not have much for a vegetarian the only option they provided was a primavera pasta which was a little disappointing. The servers and staff is extremely accommodating.

We had a holiday dinner which was quite pricey for what we received. The food didn't have a fresh cooked feeling to it and the wait staff seemed uncaring. I also had their "oysters and bubbles" one evening. That was not a good experience either, The oysters were dry and had the "buffet" taste of being pre-shucked and left in... More

I'm not a big eater and do not do very well at brunches but I wouldn't recommend this location for brunch. There are so many other places in Pittsburgh to brunch that have a very wide range of food. There were three of us, one bloody mary and it was $100. We barely ate enough to cover $25 worth of... More

This restaurant is what you would expect in a 4-5 star old classic hotel. The white table clothes the exceptional service. The attention to detail. The high ceilings and beautiful furnishings. Oh and did I mention the food? Probably the best breakfast I have ever eaten out of my home. The blueberry sausage, I thought I had died and gone... More

Had dinner at the Terrace Room for the first time and really enjoyed every aspect of it. The room itself is well worth experiencing once and part of the reason we wanted to go. Service was excellent and made dinner very enjoyable. All the food was very well made and flavorful and worth the price. French onion soup was very... More

We enjoy having a drink and appetizers at the Terrace Room. The last time we visited, we arrived during happy hour and received our appetizers half-off. Woot! We got the crabcake, the housemade chips, and the mini calzones. All delicious.

We had dinner and breakfast in the Terrace room. Dinner pricing was in the $20-35 dollar range for an entrée. Expect hotel pricing for drinks. Salads and Desserts ran $8-10. Dinner was good, but breakfast was better. The breakfast offering was buffet or off a menu. Selections included a made to order station, smoked salmon and various breakfast meats. A... More

I have eaten at the terrace a dozen times in the last 8 months. I always get the Salmon Salad for lunch and sometimes get the gumbo which is a nice complement.

Expensive lunch but worth every penny for the elegant experience. Leaving the hotel wanted to experience their dining room, Food excellent. Was traveling with family and children and they made us feel very comfortable. The man in charge of the dining room could lighten up a little. Waiters couldn't do enough for you. Very enjoyable lunch.

It was a little pricey, but very good. I got the buffet. There was plenty of hot and cold items to choose from. Everything I ate (omelet, sausage patty, sausage link, bacon, oatmeal, biscuits) was very good. My wife had French toast which she said was very tasty. The waiter was very friendly and helpful.
