We got burgers. They were stupid (in a good way). They were huge and delicious. Service was great. Big fan. Will eat again.

Stopped in here waiting for my MegaBus. Lots of wood in here with a pub feel. Popular place with friendly and attentive staff. Martini was really good and I had to order another. (Usually only have one) Had a sandwich but bread was tough, almost like if was microwaved too much. Big windows allow one to people watch. Close to... More
It doesn't surprise me that August Henry's is the top 5% of TripAdvisor's best restaurants in Pittsburgh. As a fairly ordinary, everyday restaurant in the sea of swank that gets all of the attention in the city's downtown dining scene, it tends to fly a bit under the radar, though it shouldn't! It's in a prime location on Penn Avenue,... More
Stop then after a Penguins game for a snack hand ordered the brisket sandwich. It came with onion rings a big slab of gouda cheese that was smoked, fabulous BBQ sauce and bacon that was nice and crispy. All inside a sweet toasted roll making for an outstanding sandwich. It was served with a side of homemade thick chip that... More
We stopped for lunch on Saturday January 6, 2017. We were in town for the Steelers game and wanted to try something new and different so we chose August Henry's. Easy to find in downtown. We got dropped off by the hotel shuttle. Nice bar, very clean and lots of tables available. We sat at a high top near the... More

Had a great time with frienss and then got to chum with the other Steeler fans as well. Your local "Cheers". Friday night karaoke was fun along with talented local singers.
This was a nice place to have lunch. there menu had a lot of different choices, but I must say that their Mushroom burger was really nice. It was a mushroom cap that was lightly breaded using panko and then fried, it was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It was served with shoestring fries that were cooked... More
