The fries are so good (you can't eat just one) that my friend and I shared an order. Had the corned beef sandwich which was delicious as was the slaw that came with it. Friend got a salad which looked delicious. Small place with nice service; had no room left for dessert unfortunately as would have liked to try the... More

My spouse and I ate lunch at the Point Brugge Café on a Friday afternoon in late November 2016. We planned to visit the nearby Frick Art and Historical Center, so we looked for a nearby restaurant where we could eat lunch prior to our visit. The restaurant does not accept reservations, and because it is compact (seating just 60+... More

Point Brugge is a small, intimate Belgian-inspired bistro. The restaurant was highly recommended by a few of my Pittsburgh co-workers and did not disappoint. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. We waited over 30 minutes on a table for three. But the wait was worth it. Our terrific server arrived promptly and after going through... This is one of our families favorite restaurants. We've been going for years and never have had a bad meal. Sandwiches, soups, frites, mussels, steaks, and drinks are always delicious. Food is fresh and we love the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

I think highly of this place but have a bit of a problem with their menu and the beer list. The red curry mussels are so good that after tasting it the first time i never got past these on the menu. Why take chances? it is unlikely that anything can be better anywhere! Same with beers, the first belgian... More

Had heard good things but had never had a chance to try it until now and it was worth the wait. The service, wine, and food were all outstanding. Friend and I each had the steak frites entrée and agreed that it was a perfect meal; the steak was cooked just right and very tender; the fries were delicious, and... More

Every time we come to Pittsburgh, Point Brugge Cafe is the one restaurant we MUST visit! Got there early in order to avoid a wait, but we still had to wait a few minutes. We had the warm goat cheese salad with asparagus and vinaigrette dressing. Then we had the mussels in the garlic cream sauce with the frites and... More

In Pittsburgh for a couple days & when I saw they offered carbonnade flamande I knew I needed to make this one of the dinner choices. So glad I did! Excellent service, beer selection, cozy environment, menu choices. We didn't have a reservation but were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Our meals were excellent. In addition to the carbonnade flamande... More

Don't even think about going there without trying the Prince Edward Island mussels prepared with the Red Curry sauce. Ate more French bread than I wanted to but couldn't let the sauce go to waste! Fries were yummy and seasonal Cobb salad was huge and overwhelmingly wonderful. No name cocktail was delish... Go early (like at 5 on a weeknight)... More
