Had dinner last night (Saturday, 7 pm, two couples). The service was very bad and spoiled the evening for us. It took about 30 minutes for the first course to arrive. Bread was not served. Wine was poured without being offered for a tasting. Waitress...More

Made a 6 pm reservation ( although not needed) for dinner before the Opera. The timing was perfect, the service was excellent. Our meals were delicious. We had crab cakes for an appetizer and a side of Brussels spouts. I️ had the entrecôte frites and...More

Real Gruyere cheese atop French onion soup was the highlight of the meal and went very well with Penn Dark draft beer. The rich sauces are usually why we choose French dining but the brown sauce on the porc tenderloin entree was just OK. Excellent...More

I read reports of this restaurant and reports of fair service was noted but we (2 couples) thought we would give it a try. We were given a table at the very back of the resturant near the bathrooms and kitchen and only when I...More

Had a late business lunch with a group and we were literally the only ones in the place! I was really surprised but learned from the locals I was with that it had recently went through a metamorphosis from Mediterranean to French. Menu was decent...More

We stopped in at the end of the evening for a glass of wine and a bite to eat. Our server brought us several wines to try so we could have something we really liked. We then had a cheese sampler, some croquettes and duck...More

We had a party of 10 and had our own side room. Menu was exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices were reasonable. Service was great. House cabernet was very good. We will be back.

We had a very enjoyable dining experience at Le Lyonnais. The wait staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was excellent. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, we started with a celebratory Kir Lyonnais, a champagne cocktail with pomegranate syrup in place of crème...More

This was our first time at Le Lyonnais after it changed from Sonoma. We were thrilled to see the menu change. The food is classic-bistro French. Simple ingredients and techniques done to perfection. The meals are very reasonably priced too. The staff is wonderful and...More

If you liked the Sonoma Grill you will like Le Lyonnais. Same Chef with a new twist. Great food, Beef Cheeks, Salmon, Pork, ETC. Stay away from the Brussel Sprouts though unless you really like a hard tasteless side dish

The Theater square garage (entrance on 7th Street) or the Ninth and Penn garage would put you between the Benedum and Sonoma Grill.

I don't know. But, if you ask, the worst thing that could happen is that they say, "No!"

“French comfort food”. These three words may not seem like they belong together but they do here at Le Lyonnais. Our concept is one of simple, affordable, yet delicious dishes inspired by time honored recipes from my hometown of Lyon some of which have been in my family for generations.
