Not from the area. This restaurant came highly recommended when we asked around for a good Italian place with lots of options. Ravioli's, lasagna and pizza were all great. The meat sauce was very tasty ( a bit watery to our liking, but still tasty!). The side salads were cold and fresh and crisp with a nice house Italian dressing.... More

Nothing fancy but good homemade Italian cooking. Ok atmosphere. In a local strip shopping center. Reasonable prices. Good service. I have been coming here for decades.

My mother was Italian and I grew up on the real deal. The eggplant parmesan is a favorite of mine. Their sauces are tasty and pasta always cooked just right (I don't like Al dente). The garlic bread appears to be their hoagie buns toasted. lol Who cares, the bread is good! The dinner salad is iceberg lettuce with tomato,... More

This is a local favorite of ours. The staff is friendly and helpful but the food is amazing. The pasta is cooked to perfection, the salads are generous and the main entrees are so good. My favorite is the veal piccata.

Loved loved loved the cheese lasagna. Salad was crispy, dressing good. Meal comes with garlic bread. Great food, good prices and great service. Can't wait to go back. Wish we had one up north.

We visit Carbonara's frequently. Everything that we've had there is excellent. In particular, we love the wedding soup, fried zucchini, and chicken parmegiana, but many other dishes are excellent. It's very popular, so there can be a wait during busy times, but it's worth the wait. If you are looking for great Italian food, Carbonara's is highly recommended.

My wife and I received several recommendations for a great Italian meal in the South Hills. Carbonara's kept on coming up so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of an office building on Mt. Lebanon Blvd. Nothing fancy outside but the inside is very nice and comfortable. Our Server, a tall... More

Great Italian food, Had the carbonara it was the best. The Italian wedding soup was the best I've ever had! Unfortunately, we were visiting from Los Angeles so it is not nearby for us to frequent. Prices are fair in addition to quality and portions. If ever in Pitt, one can't go wrong with a visit to Carbonara's.
