A coworker and I went here tonight. It is sort of like a fast food barbecue place. They have a number of meats/sandwiches that you can choose from along with six different barbecue sauces at the table. The food came out within five minutes of us ordering.
We spent about five minutes trying all the different barbecue sauces at the table to decide on the ones we liked with our meal. I got the pulled pork with the mac & cheese and fries while my coworker got the beef brisket with mac & cheese and baked beans. Both meats were great and so were the mac & cheese. We are definitely planning to come back here for dinner again at some point.

I had some of their food at a catered event and decided to try the actual restaurant. Two of us had brisket (outstanding) and a third had the prime rib (two thumbs up). Great sauces. Great atmosphere. People of all ages.
The only negative was receiving the brisket on a paper versus a plate. (The prime rib got a plate)

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, the bbq is always good. Plenty of sauce choices, ordering is quick and efficient. I see a lot of military and ex-military patrons. Be prepared to stand and face the flag at exactly 12:00 every day and pay tribute to this great nation and its hero’s!
This is a great establishment with great food!

Both my wife and I had the pulled pork. It was tender and flavorful, and we both would definitely get it again. I had the fries and seasonal collard greens. Both were also excellent. Their fries are fresh cut, and you can tell.
The atmosphere was great, and the business’ love and dedication to veterans shines through everywhere. The staff was attentive, despite it not being a restaurant with a dedicated wait staff. They were all very friendly.

Fast and delicious!!! Service was great! Can’t wait until they open back home. Pictures of military and first responders was a great tribute to those that work the hardest for us. You won’t be disappointed!!

We were stuck in Pittsburgh and stayed at a hotel in walking distance. After reading the reviews we had to try it. Best Bar B Que hands down. Rib meat falls off the bone. I’ve never had ribs where I are with no sauce that’s how good they were! The smoke flavor OMG! My husband had the jalapeño sausage and said it was very good. All of the sides were perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The bread pudding was so good I brought some to take home. We ate there 2 nights in a row. Staff was very friendly which was a plus. Don’t think about going, just go!!

Stopped in for dinner with coworkers and was seeking something on the lighter side (I know, it’s BBQ, it’s not supposed to be “lite”) and opted for their salad with chicken on top… it was pretty good! The salad itself was good, but the ranch dressing was on the boring side, needed lots of salt and pepper to improve the flavor.
I also tried a single baby back and a single spare rib along with my salad. The S.t Louis was boring, had no meat and tasted “old” and definitely had no smoke to it. The baby back was decent and meaty though. Both needed lots of BBQ sauce to make the taste good.
The place seems to get busy at dinner time, but the lines moved quick. The folks are very friendly and helpful there.

Wife, Daughter and I stopped in for lunch. As always, great service and reallly good food! Had the pulled chicken sandwich, wife had the brisket, and daughter had the turkey. ALL of it was great! Good sides to! Made it in time for the pledge at noon! God Bless!

Went to the Mission BBQ for the first time. I’ve driven past this place for a while but finally made the trip to eat here. Upon arriving I found the decor average. I get they support the military and first responders (I’m a fire chief myself ) it was a bit too much.. We ordered and the counter service was good. Gotta say the food was just average. Sides were small and fairly tasteless. Wife had salmon which she said was well cooked. I had 3 meats. Portion was average and taste was fair….
I will say that table service was absolutely second to none. They were very very attentive and helpful. The seating area was spotless…..
In closing not sure if I’d make the trek back

Located on main road with a large parking lot.
Great barbecue. Can't go wrong with the smoked turket breast and brisket...two of my favorites! Lots of sauces to choose from.
Fountain drinks, but also a variety of bottled soft drinks.
Very reasonable prices given the quality of food.
Great well-maintained space with tons of interesting decor throughout.
Staff is very patient, friendly and efficient.
Would love to return to try some more meats and sides...

It's really hard to find an incredible restaurant. One that everyone in your family agrees is incredible. Mission BBQ is incredible on so many levels. We attended a wedding over the summer that Mission BBQ was catering to. My family prioritized finding their storefront and trying their food again because we weren't sure that we actually tasted something as amazing as we all thought.
Well, we found it, and it was even more outrageous than we remembered. Everything was a 10. The green beans, Mac & Cheese, Cornbread, Iced Tea, Cole Slaw, ALL of the MEAT! The ribs were insane!
They had six homemade bbq sauces, it was so much fun to try them all. We will get back here over and over again. The only other place that has any good food in the Pittsburgh/Robinsons area is Ditka's, a few blocks away. Everything else in the entire area is Average with a capital A.
I need to mention the restaurant theme, which was something I didn't know about before I came here. It is a salute to all first responders. Photographs, flags, badges. "IF you knew you couldn't play tomorrow, how hard would you play today?" was painted on the wall behind the helmets and jerseys of the military football teams. ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINES!
"Choose the Harder RIGHT, instead of the Easier WRONG." Man, oh, man! We lived this place! Not only loved but lived! This experience touched our lives today.
I asked the manager if Mission BBQ would ever come to my hometown of San Diego, and he said that it was in the works as we spoke. I couldn't be happier...you guys are gonna love this experience!

The food is pretty good - we enjoyed the pulled pork - and the counter service keeps things moving briskly. The military theme is a bit overplayed but otherwise this is a good place for a quick bite.

It has to be a really special restaurant to make me stop and write about it. There are 100's of restaurants in the Robinson/Moon area that are okay. This one is 4 thumbs up. First and foremost people have priority over food, the workers were all great from taking your order to filling it to taking you dishes away to manager I spoke to, all were super pleasant. Now for the "dish" on the food. I had the pulled pork, kickin' collard greens and mac and cheese. ALL delicious. Pulled pork piled high tender and smoky, super tasty greens with just a hint of heat with creamy mac and cheese and for a person that will PASS every time on bread pudding, this was a delightful surprise. I have never had anything like it. Creamy crispy delicious that shocked me. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dinner or lunch even take out. Show up at noon someday because they take the time to honor our country and our flag by playing the National Anthem every day at noon. Loved the food, loved the staff, loved their patriotism. Thank you for the delicious surprise. God Bless you all.

My son, who is about to graduate from the police academy, goes here often with friends. He brought us (his parents) one day, and I have to say . . . the food was excellent!! I loved all of the BBQ sauces to choose from. Also, the staff was great!! We had someone check in on us several times to see if he could get us refills or different sauces, etc. But, most of all, WE love the atmosphere! We love how they honor first responders, military and vets!! Love how they stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. A true American restaurant that respects and honors God and Patriots!! We're going back with 10 persons soon. I'll definitely patronage this place more often!! Proud to be an American . . . :-)
