We wanted authentic Amish food and this certainly qualified. We walked here from the Amish Village and then took Uber back to the Lancaster train station ($17.49).. This restaurant is run by Amish women and girls. The food was amazing. The homemade peanut butter was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend the beef and noodles platter. They do... More

We chose to have breakfast here before our show at Sight and Sound and it was everything I had hoped. Run by Amish folks, everything was homemade and delicious, especially the strawberry jam on every table. I could've eaten the whole jar myself and you can buy it to take home as well as their baked goods. You know it's... More

Wow, just wow! We just happened to stop in this little diner as we pulled in to Amish country. Not busy usually equals not good. Well, apparently we were just early because this joint was absolutely awesome. The Amish waitresses were on top of their game, and made us feel like regulars. The cheeseburger soup was over the top and... More

My wife and I dropped in 12 minutes before closing and were unreservedly welcomed by the hostess. More of surprise, a party of 13 arrived AT closing time and were equally welcomed (there is a limit to their hospitality, however: a couple seeking entry 18 minutes after closing were turned away!). Looking over the other reviews, I concur with the... More

Katie's is a must stop when in the Lancaster PA area. The service is very friendly. The food is fantastic, especially the home made French fries.

This is a tidy little Amish diner located in Ronks, PA, and their wait staff consists of an amiable group of folks. Their food is standard, no nonsense Amish cooking, served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu has many options, and they also have many desserts to choose from to complete your meal. In particular, their rolls are really... More

We visited Katie's for breakfast one morning, and liked it so much that we went back for lunch. The food is really affordable compared to other diners, and comforting. They make a delicious peanut butter spread which they sell for $1.75 for a 1-lb tub, it tastes like PB whipped together with honey. We also bought a tub of their... More

Have had lunch here several times. Staff is always friendly and personable. There are plenty of choices for your lunch. The soup and 1\2 sandwich is a good value. It comes with a pickle spear and homemade chips. Emma was our server most recently and she took great care of us. Would recommend Katie's Kitchen to tourists and locals.

This restaurant is the real deal, not fake amish cooking. Homemade noodles in brown butter. Real farm to table vegetables, etc. Very inexpensive. This isn't a fancy place with plastic food and waiters in white jackets. It is real Amish cooking mostly to serve real Amish families, but they welcomed tourists, too. It was refreshing to see people of real... More
