I found this on Trip Advisor and stopped in for dinner. It was later in the evening so it was virtually deserted. The old inn has been painstakingly restored and the owner is very glad to tell you about its history. I ordered scallops but they were out so I ordered the ribeye instead. The menu is fairly limited so... More

Thanks for your great comments. Let me touch on the scallops being sold out. We pick up fresh food daily. When a product is sold out, it is because they are very popular with our guests. That day, scallops were the number one seller. Let me comment about the guards - I just didn't want anything to think that we... More

We were at the Georgian Inn for a family gathering. The restaurant is lovely to look at. The rest of the experience was not pleasant. Since we were a large group, we had appetizers set out, and used the sun porch as a place to have drinks and appetizers. The appetizers were food service (Gordon Food Service, Sam's Club, etc.)... My family frequently has "tea" there. Although a bit expensive, it is a very laid back experience. The food is good, typical "English" tea sort of thing - croissants with jam, tea sandwiches, scones.

Fancy place, gourmet food but expensive and portions small. Though we were the only party in the place it seemed, took some time to get our meal.

When we arrived the hostest asked our party name. Then she showed us to our table. When she came back to the table she handed us our menues and suprise they were personalized with our party name. We had a nice relaxing slow dining experience here and in between waiting for courses we were entertained by a gentelman who I... More

This was supposed to be a fun-filled family evening for 12 of us but the much-touted meals were very disappointing. The worst part of the evening, though, was the refusal of wait staff to serve the two African American females in our group. Their requests for drinks and water were ignored until an imposing white male in the group went... More

This review is VERY SUSPICIOUS. We have searched our past reservations and have no record of this group dining with us. We, as an employer, have had staff members of all races. Our current staff members have been with us for 4-5 years and are very professional, concierge trained, and certainly not racist in any way. We highly believe that... More

We came back for a second visit and once again had great meals for lunch, then dinner, and breakfast the next morning. Once again the food and service were exemplary! Our compliments to Ashleigh (server) and Kieth (chef). Luckily we had made reservations for dinner (we had to take an early slot because they were booked) but it was well... More

We came here expecting to have a good meal. I don't know if this place had a dress code but I didn't remember seeing anything online and we felt under dress. And we didn't even get to eat here. We walked in and rang the bell, then the lady came out and told us we needed to have reservations. No... More

Hello Michael, Thank you for your feedback, although I am very surprised to hear about this experience. The staff that was here on this past Saturday have all been here for a minimum of 4 years and are all fully concierge trained employees. If you were here Saturday evening, we would have been very full as we had a large... More

Always a great meal at this restaurant - excellent food well prepared and delicious. Had lunch and dinner here several times - also stayed the night a few times and had the wonderful breakfast that's included with the stay.

We made a pit stop here for lunch on our way to Pittsburgh and luckily we did. What a great place in an old historic house. We had planned on going to the Fl 93 Memorial, Falling Waters, and Johnstown (and South Fork) to see the flood memorial. Turns out the Georgian is in a perfect spot. After having a... More
