With gratuity this brunch usually comes out to about 25.00 per person. My kids and I love to eat Sunday brunch here. The food offered is over the top and kept well stocked. Their french toast and bacon are stellar. Then you have an omelet station, carved filet, salads, cold sides, oatmeal, juices, entrees and the dessert table. Plenty to... More

As far as I'm concerned when debating the best meals in State College, Spats, The Ale House, Zolas, and the Inn are all worthy. The service is stellar, but the food.... The food is what makes the inn great. I haven't eaten here nearly as much as I'd like to, not because of the price or because it's out of... More

We had dinner the night before December graduation, the same night as a major sporting event on campus. The Dining Room was very busy and had set up tables for restaurant service in some meeting rooms. While the ambiance in those rooms was a bit lacking, they had clearly staffed up for the occasion and we got prompt, friendly service.

Beautiful setting on the Penn State campus. We had excellent service and very good food. The menu is somewhat limited, but sufficient.

Though I am often visit the campus, I rarely eat at the Nittany Lion Inn. Recently, I was given a gift certificate for this establishment. My wife and I went there with our son and his wife before a football game. The dining room was about 1/3 occupied. We were quickly seated. We found the menu had limited selections and... More

Great place for breakfast. OK for lunch or dinner. My wife and I stay at the Inn at least once a year for over 20 years. Most often the Dinning Room has only a few diners at any time in the evening, although it can be crowded when special events are taking place. If you are looking for a more... More

Stayed here and ate breakfast at the restaurant. They had a buffet for $12 but we opted for ordering off the menu. Everything was good. The staff was friendly and service was fast. Next time I need to stay for dinner.

This is the restaurant at the center of the Penn State/State College confluence, lots of history, lots of people watching. It's almost a check list item. Usually, those places are not so hot. This place had very good food, and we had a very good waiter, who may have been the head waiter, we weren't sure. Our food was very... More

The Nittany Lion Inn is the original hospitalityy center for Penn State and remains an elegant place for meals or banquets. Service is impeccible; good prices for an upscale location; well prepared food. The Sunday Brunch is reasonable at $20 and wonderfful array of foods, including excellent salads, cheeses and seafood.
