Best ice cream in the country! The bagels are from a local shop and go great with the creamerys cream cheese. They have premade salads and sandwiches that are also good. Make sure you get some ice cream packed to go!

The Berkey Creamery has probably been around almost as long as Penn State itself. The menu consists of local favorites, but also changes. There are usually 10-15 flavors to choose from.

They have been making dairy products at Penn State since the 1860s. This facility sells their famous ice cream by the cone or dish, or packaged. Sometimes long lines for cones. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas. If you buy it packaged, you can...More

Football weekend stop! Get there early if it's a Football Weekend! Yummy and healthy portion sizes! WPSU Coffee Break and Keany Beany Chocolate are my 2 favorite kinds! Lots of choices and you can get them in a cone and/bowl or a milkshake or with...More

This creamery on Penn State's college campus is boasted as a "MUST" stop for the best ice cream in the country. I have to agree it's up there. Fantastic combinations in a perfectly, creamy concoction! My biggest disappointment was the fact they refuse to give...More

Tasty ice cream, nice facility, large portions and good prices. One downside is there isn't much parking near by. I also wish they used more natural flavorings in their ice creams. I think they should integrate natural flavors into their ice creams and into what...More

Many who love PSU ice cream( and there are thousands) don't know that PSU developed many years ago( early 1900's) an ice cream short course. All the national names in ice cream(Ben and Jerry's etc) got their start at PSU. The ice cream is very...More

Really good ice cream! The milk comes straight from their farms. Only drawback is that there can be long lines, which is enough proof how good it really is.

Firstly the facility itself is spotless; Penn State in general looks fantastic for a school with 40K students. Everything is neat/tidy and landscaped; how do they do it. The ice cream was fantastic; definitely had a home made taste. Rich and creamy. I would enjoy...More

I think the cones were around $3.50 or $4.00. They are one size only, huge! You can get it in a dish also. Worth it.
