We are not local, but go out of our way while passing through to stop at Otto's. It is always busy, and we always wait, but it is worth it. Most recently I had their pizza with kielbasa and mustard. So delicious I ate the...More

Went for dinner and a drink. Had a very good meatloaf sandwich and a stout. Ryan is an excellent bartender and was very efficient. Will definitely go back.

There is something for everyone on Otto’s large menu, including plenty of craft beer! I am not a beer drinker myself, but my husband and friends love Otto’s beer that they brew right in the restaurant. If you are looking for a casual meal that...More

Had two of their beers. One great their session IPA was lacking a little. Tried smoked chicken thighs which were fantastic. Cheese steak was pretty big. Service was great until it was time for the check but they got slammed so I guess that’s reasonable.

We met other alumni friends here on Friday night of a game weekend. The place was packed but with adults not college kids. I guess it’s too far for the collegians who prefer downtown. It’s well lit & clean. The craft beers were varied, with...More

Like another reviewer said, for $150 membership, you get great service. You would have to go very often to make that worthwhile. For the occasional visit, they do make you feel like second class citizen. Food is good sometimes, sometimes not so great. I’m not...More

Visited our kids at Penn State Campus. Always take them out of eat. Otto's was a brew house with all of the tanks shining to make their beverages. A lot of times places try to focus on all of that, and change high prices for...More

I don't know why this is coming up as gluten free...This is one of the last few places I would go in the area for a gluten safe atmosphere. Please don't go here expecting anything other than a salad really as safe.

My prior reviews gave 4 for food and 5 for beer. On a football Friday, our party of 6 arrived at 5:15 and were told 45 minutes. We did not get seated until 7:10 (and I'm sure our complaining finally convinced them to move tables...More

We're nuts about fine beer and fresh, local food. Otto's is fiercely committed to quality. Our beer is handcrafted with the finest ingredients available. Our American bistro cuisine is made with fresh ingredients from local farms, wineries, and bakeries. Our brewery and restaurant are co-located and feature a family-friendly and casual atmosphere. We're located in State College, PA, minutes from Penn State.
