While on a buying trip to Cabelas Sports Complex, we needed a place to have lunch. We selected Vonz Restaurant based on previous reviews, and we were not disappointed. The food was made fresh right on the spot which gave us time to look over...More

My wife and I passed through town and noticed the Vonz Restaurant in a restored railroad station and decided to return for lunch after completing a business delivery. Great choice! Beautifully restored restaurant/railroad station (lots of historical photos and decorations) with nice menu selections for...More

A very pleasant surprise. Superb food, the owners (h/w mgr & chef) warmly greeted us, and even gave us a tour of the beautifully restored historic train station, complete with history. This is a destination restaurant. Don't miss the mushroom soup!!!

We recently hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at this restored train station restaurant. Our gathering of 25 people was held in the "women's waiting room"dining area. Main entrees of crab-stffed tallapia, chicken marsala, and veal in saffron cream sauce were delicious. Chef Vonn was very...More

It was really nice too learn how this building was saved by the local town and, perhaps even better, how good the food was. We stopped for lunch on a fairly slow day and I had one of the better burgers I have ever had...More

Although this restaurant's atmosphere, in the restored train station, is cozy and nostalgic the service is lousy. One chef for all the tables in this place. The food is decent but waiting up to 2 hours for a simple hamburger is just not worth the...More

We take all our reviews very seriously and cover both the positive and negative ones with our staff. We use the positive to praise them to continue their same efforts in doing so at all times and use the negative comments for doing what we...More

The food, as always, was good, but it took an hour to receive our food. The server did something odd I have never seen done before. She accidentally delivered a plate of mac and cheese to our plate, then came back 5 minutes later and...More

I cannot compliment Chef Von and her staff enough for the wonderful accommodations during my daughters bridal shower. The food was amazing and the service was top rated. The Vonz will be my Number One choice when hosting family and friends in the area.

Stopped in on the drive home from camping at knoebels amusement park. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The apps were quick, hot and NOT microwaved. We savored the main course as it was presented tastefully and punctually by a staff of enthuastic servers. They...More
