Unrealistic to expect the same dining experience on a crowded holiday but the Washington Crossing Inn could have done better on Thanksgiving. On the plus side seating was prompt and service was efficient and pleasant. Food - Turkey: dark meat tasty but stringy, white meat dry and had a strange vein going through it. Mashed potatoes were dry, cold, tasteless... More

As noted in its name The Washington Crossing Inn is located within 100 yards of where the historic crossing of the Delaware by Washington and the Continental Army was accomplished. The Inn its self is quite lovely, comfortable and historic. We have had very pleasant experiences in food and service here. This visit on the food side was a total... More

A location with a lot of history. Elegant Dining Room. A $14.95 three course lunch special (M-F) with nice choices. Service was superb.

We sat outside on a lovely patio for a wonderful lunch. The crab bisque was delicious. We had a fried dumpling small plate and a shaved prime rib sandwich. Everything was great!

Recently had lunch with my wife and we could not have been more impressed with the meal and service. The dining room is charming and warm. This would be one of my go to places to eat in the New Hope area. Thanks to Roy from Pineapple Hill Inn for recommending the Washington Crossing Inn. It definitely lived up to... More

While passing through on our way home, we just stopped in without a reservation and pulled into a very busy parking lot. The inn is quite popular for birthday, showers, anniversaries, weddings and any other occasion. Two big events were going on, but it did not affect our service OR food quality. Parking - excellent and several entrances; handicapped ramps... More

This restaurant is located very close to the Delaware River where Washington Crossed the Delaware. From the moment you enter the property you know every thing will be perfect from the decor, to the food, and to the service. We ordered drinks then starters. 3 friends split pork dumplings, garlic bread, and a mushroom flat bread before ordering our lunches.... More

Went here for a late lunch on Sunday which turned out to be a dinner as they only had the dinner menu out on Sundays after their brunch which ends at 2 pm. The meal was okay but was so overpriced it was ridiculous. The dining room is beautiful and the surroundings of the inn are beautiful as well. But... More

We went for dinner because we had heard a lot about it and we live in the neighborhood. We were not impressed by anything: the service or the food. It was extremely noisy, between the other dinners talking very loud and the staff was giving a sales pitch to a couple that was thinking of holding their wedding there. We... More
