Great to have a decent in-house restaurant at this hotel (the Yorktowne). So many chains these days skip that luxury. This one has a pleasant bar, and you can buy a bottle of wine to take up to your room to entertain friends. I had the chicken quesedilla bar food special, and it was fabulous. Great breakfast the next day... More
While attending the annual York Bike Night in downtown York, my husband and I decided to stop into the Offcenter Grill for a bite to eat. They had tables set up on the sidewalk and along the street so patrons could watch the people and bikes go by. We were seated right away at a great spot looking out so... More
The food was very good, plenty of it for the price, outdoor as well as indoor seating. Staff was very friendly(thanks Nick & Theresa) we had breakfast, 2 lunches & an afterparty from a wedding....more than plenty of good food & drink
This spot is in the yorktowne hotel and is now the only hotel alternative to the once great commonwealth room. A lunch spot for attorneys during the week, it's fairly dead on the weekends. But the food is ok and the prices are reasonable. Staff is small and things are casual. When I was there they had a fight on... More
We were guests of the hotel and decided to eat here because it was convenient. The service was HORRIBLE. The waiter was not very busy yet he seemed bothered to take our order. We were never told of any specials. After we got our dinner we were never asked how it was or had our empty water glasses refilled. The... More

Took place of room service. Staff very friendly & accommodating - provided tray so I could take breakfast to our room in the hotel. Had 2 breakfasts & 1 dinner - all were great!
Had the asian salad, which was great and the dollar tacos. However, the best part was a pint of a local brewery called Evil Design, which was a porter with a taste of chocolate and just a hint of cinnamon. It sounds weird, but was SO different, I loved it.
